Little bit steep £30 for adults in the Hammy end.
What price do you think should have been set?
At those prices and being a 12pm Sunday TV game I doubt it will sell out. Soton should fill their section. Its a shame as I remember when the early rounds were packed at Fulham, the FA Cup is now the new league cup

Why should they sell out and not us ?
Same price and same kick off time, and some of their supporters will be coming from the Isle of Wight, so quite a hike,
If their supporters can make the effort surely ours can to.

I fail to see why our ticket pricing policy has any connection to the status of the FA Cup, which you claim is the "new league cup". Please explain?
Maybe it's just me but I don't think a midday ko off is so bad. But then I don't go drinking prior to a game. For me it means I get back home at a sensible time for a meal so it fits quite well into the day. Each to their own I guess.

Because they only need to sell 3k or so. Fulham typically sell our away allocation in the league but don't on home cup games.

I am not sure the FA Cup carrys the same gravitas it once did, particularly since it became over subscribed to TV, removal of the classic cup replay, extra time on the day etc.
Maybe because we are no longer the underdogs being in the Prem versus league 1/2 but the buzz of the cup for me at Fulham has fizzled away over the years. Really only gaining any momentum at the QF/SF stages.
So for me, and clearly the club based on ticket prices in early rounds (and attendances) it no longer has the pull versus a league game. On this occasion it feels a ramp up in price a round too early
The domestic cups lost their kudos in the 1990's when Arsene Wenger was allowed to use Youth players in domestic cup games and the other teams followed. It was further devalued when all the European Cup places were given to the Premier League.
At about the same time Manchester United were allowed to enter the FA Cup in the fourth round so that they could play in the World Club Championship. This further devalued the competition.
There is also the financial incentive to finish as high as possible in the Premiere League, because a higher place brigs huge rewards. More that a good cup run ever could.
So having a good cup run is for the fans and not the Directors who have to balance the finances.
The FA cup seems very much
alive and kicking this season.
£30 for an adult where are the prices for the game?
30 quid to watch us get into the last 8 of the oldest competition in the world is a bargain. I love the FA Cup and would be ecstatic if we could reach our second ever final, but win this time. Then we are in Europe!

I don't know about bargain but I certainly don't think it's too steep. Seems about right to me.
Compared to premier league prices, it's not diabolical, but I think about £5 less would bring in a better attendance. Early kick off and TV coverage will put a few off.
It'll be a toss up for me... Bargain Hunt & Escape to the Country or Fulham

They will sell somewhere between 5k and 7.5k
Not sure what the issue is, prices are set to cover match day cost of staff etc so its just up to each individual to either buy or stay away, I cannot get there for 1200 so im giving it a miss but if I could then £30 is reasonable

I think the FA Cup has been devalued by the stupid decision of the FA to hold the semi finals at Wembley.
It takes away the dream of that day out in the Final, there are plenty other grounds with over 60,000 capacity where semi's can be played.
Didn't they make City and Liverpool travel all the way to London for a semi, when the game could have been staged at United's 76,000 ground.

I lived on the Isle of Wight for Over 30 years, and I would say id met a lot more Pompey fans than I did Saints, 70/30.
But of course, plenty of Man Utd, Arsenal & Spurs :slap:
I think £30 is fair. I'll certainly be going.
I planned to go with my old mate of many years who supports saints. I was going to have the dinner at the cottage before, costing me about 400 quid for two. Well the lunch time ko just poured cold water on that. The trains from Winchester (where we start) to London have delays, stopping for a bus along the way for part of the journey. Normally, not a huge problem but there will probably be loads of saints fans trying to get on the bus, Given the brains trust involved in all this, can I expect there to be many buses? I doubt that.
Oh well, back to the drawing board for planning. Given all this nonsense, stupid kick off times etc. I wonder why I bother. Maybe I should buy a flat in Fulham Palace Road.
Any advice would be welcome.

It isn't £30 if you have a family it would cost me £120 absolutely ridiculous pricing £15 adult £ 5 child ground gets sold out how much they going to charge if we get through 🤷♂️. Fulham completely miss the boat 🤦♂️ the kick off time is ridiculous it will be a library

Should introduce a points system where ticket purchases for earlier rounds guarantee tickets for the later rounds.
Next round if we overcome Southampton are the quarterfinals remember!

Says the Kew Bridge WUM.
My biggest problem is you never see a good match kicking off 12.00 lunchtime
Palace having trouble shifting tickets for their Conference League playoff against Mostar - I'm not surprised at £40 a pop for a Thursday night 8pm kickoff.
Doesn't the club get a good television fee on top of the tickets?
I don't support Brentford I support Fulham and am entitled to my opinion myself and one of my children went to Stoke away on the coach with tickets for the match for £59 . Fulham charging £30 is insanity they could have cheaper tickets and fill the ground out and just maybe pick up some new young supporters for a new generation of Fulham fans They 💯 have missed the boat. This is amesssge board of opinions just because you don't like what they say you don't have to be horrible.

Yes they do if your ticket is restricted view - for which you get £2 off per ticket.
If people think price is the only determining factor in crowds they're wrong.
Opposition, match importance, kick off time, likelihood of 1st team players etc etc etc.
Stoke reduced their prices massively for the previous game and had one side of the ground completely empty.

I can be a lot of fun I assure you. I just hate drinking beer before the match then up and down to the Hammy End bogs, disturbing everyone on the way, when what I actually want to do is watch the match uninterrupted. If I fancy a coupe of pints I walk back along by the river to Hammersmith. Usually go to the Dove.
Up to this season I've been a season ticket holder for donkeys years but I had to give it up, so I bought a membership for £25 so I could get tickets for this game, the window for Members is this Friday for just two hours then they go on general sale, so that was a waste of £25 😀
Can I kindly ask a season ticket holder to have a look at the seat map for me and let me know how sales are going, I'm looking to go in The Johnny Haynes if I can get 4 together.
If we're giving Southampton the whole Putney end - couldn't we give them the Hammy end bogs as well

Can I kindly ask a season ticket holder to have a look at the seat map for me and let me know how sales are going, I'm looking to go in The Johnny Haynes if I can get 4 together.
Members have a 4 hour window before they go on general sale (10am for members, 2pm general sale).
theres loads of tickets available- just bought 2 for me and my dad in the Riverside
