We play 4 of the bottom 5 in our next 4 matches. Huge opportunity to move high up the table and get into those European places.
And against some teams we really want to beat.
Yeah it is a huge opportunity and exactly the kind of games you want coming up. Won't be easy games at all for the most part I imagine as they will all be scrapping for their lives.
I really want to see a good 90 minutes performance coming up.
these next games will be telling for so many reasons.
Europe, Marco, Wilson, transfer targets
We have the capacity to put some teams to the sword
no pressure lads 💪
8 pionts will be great
European places? Not that I believe the likes of Everton Bournemouth & Brentford are better teams than us as this season is proving to be consistently unpredictable for the middle tier teams and that is where we fall in to this bracket. What was today our first win in four league games. The way this season is panning out we are just as likely to give Spurs their first win since The Old Queen passed away or a poor Westham a lifeline?
If we go on to win our next four league games then we have a chance. Today's win is good shot in the arm going into March and hopefully a bit of consistency follows with positive results?
We really only have Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa as teams I don't expect a single point from. We have a great opportunity now to kick on and grab that 7th/8th position for Europe.

It is for sure, can we finally press on with out caving in to the pressure
There will I'm sure be plenty more twists and turns before the season is done.
Brentford with the second easiest run in on paper currently have a real shot. Big game Vs them in April.
Really hoping we can turn up the pressure in the next 4 and put ourselves right amongst it. Gutted to lose Kevin just as he was looking great, big loss that but hopefully chukwueze and Bobb can stay fit and we can keep the team mostly fit.
Everything to play for
Let's hope Marco sets the team up to really go for it in all the games and not sit back.
Be nice to put the knife further into spurs next Sunday...
I hope we give Palhinha a good warm reception too when he returns...
Beat Spurs and West Ham the Euro dream is on, take 6 from Forest and Burnley you can get the passport out the draw
I'm more worried about clubs fighting to avoid relegation than the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth! There are times we don't turn up. Anybody catch some of the Walham Green game v Burnley? Burnley look like they can finally bloody some noses!

They certai ly can be tricky games but these are the games Silva needs to navigate. We screwed them up last year, if he has learnt from them, we should be fine. 12 from 12 points incoming

Football is a funny old game and throws the form book out the window on a regular basis, one game at a time I guess.

If we get 12/12, I'm confident we'll get Europe. Especially as our final 7 matches aren't terrible either.
I want a minimum of 13 point's.... anything less is a disaster

Exactly
Typical Little Fulham mentality this lot.

Is it like Rugby Union where you get more points for achieving objectives? :slap:
Fail to win two of them and people will want Silva out.
Predicting results weeks ahead of matches is a mugs game, one game at a time.
Apart from the fact that you never know what lays ahead, injuries, Illness, loss of form, referee decisions all contribute to the unexpected.
Also Fulham's record is littered with unexpected victories against top clubs and unexpected defeats against lower clubs.
Football doesn't work that way, especially with Fulham's unpredictability and inconsistency.
Just take one game at a time, as the next one is the most important not the one after or the one in a months time.
Goals change games both for and against.
No point setting yourself up for a big disappointment. Because that is generally what happens.
Best to saviour and enjoy the moment when Fulham win like they did yesterday, and then just concentrate on the next match.
One games at a time.

Villa are going off the boil. At home if we play like we know we can, we can easily beat them.
Can beat villa and varpool

We have played 13 games against the bottom 9 teams and won 29pts from 39 pts.

More importantly, we beat all 4 of our next opponents in the reverse fixture, and 3 of those were away games. I really think that, if we play to our best ability, we can win all 4 games.

Beat spurs, they get relegated, we buy back Palhinha, and then get Pepi, sign up Marco, Wilson, Sessegnon, Raul and Chukwueze to contracts and then we're on our way!

Agree wit the above except Raul, it is time to move on and replace with something better

Would be great to do the double over Spurs, but don't like to jinx it - this might be the time they suddenly come good!
Love to beat them, though. ::scarf::
Agree, Palhinha deserves a good reception.

Need to liven up our finishing though going on today's evidence.
It was always comfortable but we should have been out of sight. Good enough start though, will definitely take that.
Spurs are bang, bang in trouble though I reckon.
Should have made to day easier than we did. Watching replays i cant work out what on earth Leno was thinking on their goal, sacked out of position and all at sea

You know you want to.
Its also quite plausible to want us to win all 4 and to replace marco
Not sure how that work's
Or Why?
Thoroughly deserved our victory today, but it's a shame we could not have taken a couple more of the chances we created.
We were by far the better team, and we got the result we wanted.
We look a top 6 team with substitutes who are all quality, which shows the strength of our squad.
I feel Diop has a real presence, and what a warrior Bassey is.
Going forward in numbers we look mustard.
Spurs have no complaints and we were better all over the pitch.

Agree with all of that mate. Even the Spurs manager told Sky that Fulham were better by every metric.
And we were.
Yeah, only fly in ointment today was that we should've been out of sight by the second half and not hanging on by the end.
Feel for ESR who had 2 great opportunities.
Hopefully he'll put that right on Wednesday night :claping20hands:

Not sure what he was thinking either except that Sess was no where to be seen, as usual!
He is NO defender!

Sess brings a lot to the attack, but we are noticeably worse on defense without Jedi on the field. His pace and positioning covers up for a lot of mistakes. Hope he is well soon - a lot of matches coming up and we could use the rotation.
