Title: Is Kavanagh at it again
Post by: Bill2 on March 01, 2026, 05:00:57 PM
Anyone see the red card incident today. Apparently a contentious one but when I saw it was Kavanagh and a Utd game I did wonder.

Doesn't warrant a major discussion I guess but I thought th ref today wasn't very good.
I've stopped well short of diabolical and hopeless he just was poor.

Said it before, that melt couldn't even ref a Sunday league game fairly, let alone prem games. Complete toss pot.

I dont like his arrogant attitude.  However, most if his calls seem reasonable but room for improvement. Never happy when I see him doing a Fulham game. Unpredictable.

Always notice that when the refs come on the mic these days, 80% of them have manc accents. Funny that, checking club badge strikes again.

I do find it completely crazy a referee form Greater Manchester can referee on United games really.

I think the decision yesterday was a bit ridiculous, football has no relationship between strength of contact. he had two fingers on his shoulder while in the box and he jumped upwards in the air to dive.
