Fulham 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

At a glance

Harry Wilson gives Fulham lead in seventh minute

Alex Iwobi adds second with low shot in 34th minute

Richarlison pulls one back for Spurs with header midway through second half

Result leaves Tottenham four points above relegation zone, Fulham in ninth spot

Relegation-threatened Tottenham's miserable 2026 continued as their winless run extended to 10 league games with Fulham gaining a deserved victory to boost their hopes of qualifying for European football.

Fulham, who scored twice in the first six minutes in their 2-1 win at Spurs in November, again got an early opener with Harry Wilson netting in the seventh minute - his ninth of the season.

However, the goal was controversial as new Spurs boss Igor Tudor felt it should have been disallowed as home striker Raul Jimenez pushed Radu Dragusin as they challenged for a Kenny Tete cross, before Oscar Bobb picked out Wilson to volley home from six yards out.

Tottenham had a similar goal ruled out last week in their 4-1 loss to Arsenal for a foul by Randal Kolo Muani on Gunners defender Gabriel but, following a check from the video assistant referee (VAR) Craig Pawson, Fulham's goal was allowed to stand, much to Tudor's fury.

Spurs, though, had no excuses for the 34th-minute second goal with Alex Iwobi left with space to shoot home superbly from 18 yards out, with the ball going in off the inside of the post after a neat exchange with Wilson.

Calvin Bassey should have made it 3-0 only to fire wastefully over from close range at the end of the first half, with Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe also missing chances.

Spurs pulled one back in the 66th minute when substitute Richarlison headed in Archie Gray's left-wing cross.

They have now lost both of their matches since Tudor replaced the sacked Thomas Frank, conceding six goals in the process, and last went on a 10-match winless league run at the start of 1994 under Ossie Ardiles.

Spurs, who have been in the top flight of English football in every season since one campaign in the old Second Division in 1977-78, are now 16th, four points above the relegation zone with 10 games left.

Fulham analysis: Silva's side eye Europe
While Tottenham are facing a fight to stay up, Fulham are looking in the other direction.

This win was only the second time in their history that they had completed the league double over Tottenham, after doing so last in the 2003-04 campaign.

With boss Marco Silva still yet to sign a new contract beyond this summer, Fulham are ninth in the Premier League table, with only goal difference separating them and eighth-placed Everton.

Eighth may be a position high enough to earn them a return to European football, which they have not played in since 2012-13.

If they are to get there, their home form could be key as this was their eighth victory in 14 matches at Craven Cottage.

They were the better team in the first half and wasted chances to take the game away from Tottenham before Richarlison's goal set up a frantic finish.

Club captain Tom Cairney almost scored with his first touch off the bench, but shot just wide.

It was a nervous finish for the home fans, but their side did enough to hang on to the three points.

Tottenham analysis: Painful reality check for new boss Tudor
Struggling Spurs are the only team in the top flight without a league win in 2026.

When the Ardiles-led side suffered a similar 10-match winless run 22 years ago, they finished 15th and avoided relegation by just three points.

Croatian Tudor has a reputation for getting teams out of trouble, but Spurs have now lost both games in charge - and look frail defensively, while struggling to create a large amount of chances.

They only had one shot on target, which was Richarlison's goal, and more clinical finishing from Fulham would have sealed the outcome a lot earlier.

In his first news conference, Tudor said he was "100%" confident Spurs would stay up.

However, the second-half capitulation against Arsenal and the Craven Cottage loss will be a reality check and show just how much work he has to do.

Apart from a Pape Sarr effort in the 89th minute which went into the side-netting and a blocked shot from Joao Palhinha in the sixth minute of added time, Spurs rarely looked like getting a leveller.

They still have a four-point cushion over 18th-placed West Ham, but make no mistake, Tottenham are in trouble and desperately need of a win.

What's next for both teams?
Fulham host third-bottom West Ham on Wednesday, 4 March (19:30 GMT) in the Premier League, before Championship side Southampton visit in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday, 8 March (12:00 GMT).

Tottenham entertain Crystal Palace, who are six points ahead of them, on Thursday, 5 March (20:00 GMT).

Post-Spurs Press Conference
Marco Silva felt that Fulham's victory over Tottenham Hotspur should have been by a greater margin on Sunday afternoon.

An early Harry Wilson volley and a stunning Alex Iwobi finish had us two up at the break, but a number of additional chances to extend the lead came and went, before Richarlison scored off the bench to ensure a nervier finale than was necessary.

"I believe the three points clearly we deserved," Silva said. "In terms of the score, it should be different with the amount of chances that we created.

"Of course, first half, the beginning of the game, we were clinical, ruthless. We created and we punished them.

"But the number of moments that we had second half to score, clear chances to score the third goal and kill completely the game, and we didn't. That is the reality.

"And you know, anytime at the level that we are playing, with the individual quality on the other side, they can punish you, which is what Richarlison did in that moment.

"But great performance from us. I really believe that the way we were able to control the game, creating chances, the dynamic we put in our offensive organisation, was top.

"I think we controlled very well the physicality from them, the two strikers, always the channel balls and the runners in behind. They tried, and I think we did control very, very well.

"The only thing is the score doesn't reflect our superiority on the pitch, but we are very pleased with the performance, with another three points, and we move on."

Fulham 2-1 Tottenham: Spurs fail to capitalise on relegation rivals slipping up
Fulham complete league double over Spurs for first time in 22 years

Tottenham's relegation fears increased after a 2-1 loss at Fulham consigned them to a fourth consecutive Premier League defeat.

Spurs lost for a second time under interim head coach Igor Tudor, who switched to a back four for this London derby but watched his faltering group go behind after seven minutes.

Harry Wilson scored for a 10th time this season, but Tottenham were furious a push by Raul Jimenez on Radu Dragusin was not penalised.

Fulham doubled their advantage in the 34th minute when ex-Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi fired in from range to leave the visitors with a huge uphill battle.

Spurs substitute Richarlison pulled one back after 65 minutes, but a late rally could not stop the club's winless run in the Premier League extending to a record-equalling 10th match with the 16th-placed outfit still only four points above the bottom three.

Tudor moved away from his favoured 3-4-2-1 system and went with a back four, but Spurs conceded after seven minutes.

Wilson had scored in the sixth minute of the November meeting and punished Tottenham again when Oscar Bobb's cross found the Wales international, who rifled in on the half-volley.

The visitors were incensed about a slight push on Dragusin by Jimenez, but Craig Pawson in the VAR chair at Stockley Park decided it was not enough to warrant a foul.

Contact by Jimenez was soft but the incident was strikingly similar to the goal ruled out for Spurs forward Randal Kolo Muani against Arsenal last Sunday due to a slight push.

Tudor was furious and yet the visitors regrouped with a Joao Palhinha effort deflected behind before fit-again Pedro Porro sliced wide.

Fulham responded when Kenny Tete scuffed off target and Issa Diop was then required to stop Kolo Muani.

With the game in the balance, it was brilliance by Iwobi which tipped the scales in favour of the west London club.

After a quick one-two with Wilson, Iwobi produced a fine first-time effort into the bottom corner in the 34th minute to stun Tottenham.

Yves Bissouma and Dragusin squandered chances to reduce the deficit before half-time, but it may have been 3-0 had Calvin Bassey not hooked over in first-half stoppage-time.

Fulham remained on top after the break and they should have scored again when Bobb played in Emile Smith Rowe, who fired wide but could have teed up Jimenez for a tap-in.

Micky van de Ven denied Jimenez soon after before Tudor made a triple substitution in the 58th minute.

Pape Sarr, Mathys Tel and Richarlison were sent on and even though Guglielmo Vicario had to make a crucial stop to thwart Smith Rowe minutes later, Tottenham were given a lifeline with 65 on the clock at Craven Cottage.

Tel raced at the Fulham defence and played in Gray, who stood up a cross at the back post for Richarlison to head home.

Fulham weathered the initial storm after the goal before Spurs desperately pushed for a late leveller.

Sarr fired into the side-netting but when Palhinha had a stoppage-time effort blocked, the full-time whistle followed to leave Tottenham precariously close to the relegation zone.

Fulham 2-1 Spurs
First half goals from Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi earned Fulham a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Cottage on Sunday.

Wilson made it home and away goals for him against Spurs early on, rifling in a volley after Oscar Bobb had sent a cross back his way.

And Iwobi claimed his second in as many games with an absolute stunner, sidefooting home from the edge of the box with a powerful placed finish.

Richarlison pulled one back for the visitors in the second half to make for a tenser finish than our domination deserved, but we had enough to get over the line and make it back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

There were two changes to the XI that started the Sunderland win, with both enforced. Illness ruled out Joachim Andersen and so in came Issa Diop, while Kevin's injury suffered on Wearside meant a full Premier League debut for Bobb on the left wing.

Wilson was on the scoresheet inside six minutes in the reverse fixture in North London, so may be disappointed that it took him seven to find the back of the net this time. This one, too, was an emphatic finish, as he thumped home a volley after Bobb's cross was flicked his way via the head of Conor Gallagher.

There was a VAR check for a possible foul by Raúl Jiménez in the build-up when challenging Radu Dragusin for Kenny Tete's cross, but common sense prevailed and the goal stood.

Wilson was involved in our next chance as he showed remarkable determination to keep the ball in play, hooking it into the mixer where Emile Smith Rowe was able to tee up Tete, who drilled wide of the near post.

On 25 minutes, the visitors flexed their attacking muscle, sending Randal Kolo Muani in on goal, only for Diop to make up the ground rapidly and execute a perfect sliding tackle to deny the France international.

But it was Fulham who struck the second goal, one which will be remembered for a long time by those lucky enough to witness it. Iwobi played a one-two with Wilson, before then smashing in a shot with his instep from outside of the box. Going in off the post only added to the aesthetics.

Spurs will feel they should have quickly halved the deficit when Xavi Simons picked out Dragusin at a corner, but the centre-back could only volley over despite having time and space.

We had an equally good opportunity from a corner of our own in stoppage time, but Calvin Bassey sliced over on the spin after Bobb cut the ball back his way.

The Whites started the second half on the front foot and soon had a four-on-three situation when Bobb robbed Joao Palhinha of possession. He laid in Smith Rowe to his left, but his angled strike just missed the far post.

Bobb had been electric on the left wing and almost created a third goal when he played a one-two with Iwobi before picking out Raúl, whose snapshot deflected behind.

The Norwegian winger was involved again as we carved Spurs open once more after the hour mark, finding Iwobi in space who picked out the run of Smith Rowe, but Guglielmo Vicario made a terrific save to deny him.

We hadn't seen much at all of Spurs in an attacking sense, but they soon found a way back into the match when substitute Richarlison found room at the far post to nod in a clipped Archie Gray cross.

The Spurs substitutes had given them some momentum, and so Silva responded by introducing Josh King, Rodrigo Muniz, Samuel Chukwueze and Tom Cairney, and our Club captain sent a 20 yarder just wide within minutes of coming on, before Muniz rifled one straight at Vicario.

There was a heart in mouth moment with two minutes to play when a couple of other Spurs substitutes – Souza and Pape Matar Sarr – combined down the left, with the latter lashing a shot into the side-netting.

Six minutes of added time ensured a nervy finale, and Palhinha saw a shot blocked at the death, but the boys held on to secure the points, and a first league double over Spurs in more than 22 years.

Fulham 2-1 Tottenham: Cottagers go ninth on earliest ever St Totteringham's day

A disoriented Tottenham hit a new low on the earliest St. Totteringham's Day on record after a standout performance from Harry Wilson inspired Fulham to a 2-1 win at Cravern Cottage.

The Welshman, who is still out of contract in the summer, volleyed home his ninth goal of the season from point-blank range inside seven minutes before setting up Alex Iwobi to slot home the second from distance.

Second-half substitute Richarlison headed in a lifeline, but it wasn't enough to suspend the day it became impossible to finish above leaders Arsenal nor increase the slim four-point gap to the drop.

As it happened
The hosts caught Spurs out early as Kenny Tete received a low switch from Alex Iwobi on the left and had far too much time and space to float a cross in towards Raul Jiménez from deep.

Full debutant Oscar Bobb clipped the loose ball into the six yard box after it cleared the penalty area, and Wilson was on hand to thrash it home on the volley inside seven minutes.

Captain Micky van der Ven led the protests that the Welshman had pushed Radu Dragusin to the ground, but VAR checked and cleared the incident to leave Igor Tudor's side behind again.

Chants of "We want our Tottenham back" from the away section rang around Craven Cottage and soon devolved into labelling the players as unfit to wear the shirt after half an hour as Iwobi doubled the lead.

The Nigerian was allowed to exchange a simple one-two with Wilson, then casually place his strike from 25 yards into the bottom left corner to leave Guglielmo Vicario no chance.

The visitors did manage to make some inroads behind the Cottagers' defence, but speculative efforts from Randal Kolo Muani and João Palhinha were blocked with relative ease.

Fulham came mighty close to a third just before the break as Calvin Bassey lifted over a shot from no more than 10 yards out after Vicario missed the punch on a corner, with Spurs' resolve increasingly fragile.

It hadn't improved as the game got back underway and Emil Smith Rowe nearly took full advantage when he fired just wide with his laces after Bobb dispossessed Palhinha.

Tudor's men inexplicably couldn't find the net moments later from the Portuguese midfielder's low ball across the face of goal after catching Bassey dwelling on the ball.

It was rinse and repeat down the other end as left winger Bobb's cut back from the byline found Jiménez but a last-ditch block by van der Ven on the slide denied the Mexican a third goal in two league games.

Tottenham needed a goal quickly, and got their wish when Archie Gray was found on the overlap by wantaway Frenchman Mathys Tel and the full-back's clipped cross was headed in by Richarlison.

Fulham dug deep as the pressure on Bernd Leno's goal ramped up heading into six minutes of added time, as the Spurs players collapsed to the ground after consecutive defeats under Igor Tudor was confirmed.

The jubilant scenes in the home end as Fulham rose to ninth, five points off of Chelsea in sixth, were a stark contrast to those affiliated with a club now deep in a relegation battle.

Fulham analysis: Silva must do everything to keep Wilson
When you see someone walking past you in the street sporting this year's Fulham shirt, there's only one player that would come to mind: Harry Wilson. And what a season he's been having.

To put his nine goals and six assists into context, Wilson has enjoyed his most productive season at Craven Cottage since Marco Silva's side won promotion back to the topflight in 2021/22. But not all is rosy for Fulham fans, with the versatile attacker's contract still set to expire in the summer.

Plenty speculated whether Wilson would be on his way out during the January transfer window, when Everton submitted a deadline day enquiry into how feasible a switch to Merseyside would be, only for the London side to quickly rule out any chance of that happening.

Needless to say, this was for very good reason considering the fact that Fulham have unsurprisingly moulded their attack around the Welshman, who linked up nicely throughout the 90 minutes with newer recruits Emil Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi.

It would be difficult to imagine Fulham having half the chances at goal they did today without Wilson's clinical edge and ability to pick out a pass in between the lines that he's shown more often than ever before in the top flight, to the extent that he's growing fairly synonymous with the European hopefuls.

But that could be about to change if he feels as though he's earned the right to take on a new challenge, the only question then being where he would go. It's being reported that a return to Anfield isn't off the cards, with some pitting Wilson as a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah when he inevitably departs Liverpool.

The determining factor in the 29-year-old's future at Craven Cottage could prove to be a simple equation: qualify for European football.

Spurs analysis: new shape, same result for Tudor
Igor Tudor decided a change in shape was necessary following their 4-1 drubbing at the hands of north London rivals Arsenal – but eyebrows raised in confusion at what exactly the 49-year-old decided to do.

Sky Sports said it was a back three with the more forward-thinking Pedro Porro, and Connor Gallagher at wing back. BBC Sports said it was a 4-4-2.

Regardless of how you look at Spurs' shape, it was clear that their playing staff remain as undrilled as they looked under Thomas Frank before his exit.

They seemed reluctant to press Fulham, which proved costly for both goals, and showed too much urgency too late again as Richarlison was unable to single-handedly pull Tottenham further away from the drop.

It's clear for all to see: relegation is now irrefutably looming.

Fulham U18 5-1 Reading U18
Fulham Under-18s made it a winning weekend for our Academy sides with a 5-1 victory over Reading.

The damage was done in a relentless first period, in which our youngsters found themselves 3-0 ahead after just 20 minutes.

Khai Vally got the ball rolling, with Brodie Dair adding a quickfire double.

Even after Dylan De-Gale's red card early in the second half, we remained the dominant side. Anand Batra added number four with a well taken strike, and while Reading did rally through Scofield Lonmeni, Tarrell Cavell completed the scoring from the penalty spot.

Vally, prolific for the U16s this season, handed us an early lead with a calm finish, slotting the ball past Tobias Borgnis at his near post.

Dair was the scorer of the second, but he had Alfie White to thank for a top assist. The all-action midfielder won the ball back high up the pitch and swept a low pass across the face of goal for Dair to finish.

The Scottish striker led from the front – and epitomised everything good about this energetic performance. He chased down goalkeeper Borgnis and got his rewards, tackling the ball into the back of the net.

Our pressing game was absolutely relentless – and Andrew Joslin's side looked like they could score every time they went forwards. There was a rare miss when Quinn Schutter's wicked free-kick was headed just wide by Archie Taylor.

A scoreline of 3-0 heading into the break was the least our youngsters deserved for their efforts. The advantage could have been greater, but Borgnis was on hand to make a diving save from Vally, before comfortably gathering a Nazim Benchaita effort.

Dair was after his first Fulham hat-trick – and he stung the palms of Borgnis early into the second period.

He was literally throwing his body on the line in order to get his third. He just couldn't quite meet Will Sutton-Bangura's flash across goal, although Schutter managed to get to it at the far post, forcing a save from Borgnis.

We had to see out the final half hour with ten men, as De-Gale received a second yellow card for dissent.

But Joslin's side still remained the dominant outfit. Off the bench, Batra added our fourth with a controlled half volley into the bottom corner.

Meanwhile, Dair still had the hat-trick ball in his sights. A toe was all he could get to Benchaita's pullback, with the ball falling agonisingly wide.

Reading attacks were rare, but our Young Whites, more often than not, were equal to them. A combination of Taylor and Kymarley Morrison were on hand to make a big lock to deny Joseph Ntege.

Our defence was breached with eight minutes to play however as Lonmeni grabbed a consolation.

There was still time for a fifth Fulham goal deep into stoppage-time. After being dragged down in the box, Cavell picked himself up to poke a precise spot kick beyond Borgnis.

Our U18s are next in action away at Chelsea on Tuesday 3rd March, 1:30pm kick-off at Cobham.

Fulham hold on for deserved victory over struggling Spurs
Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi scored for Fulham in a deserved win over struggling Tottenham at Craven Cottage.

The Whites were two up by the interval and held firm after Richarlison pulled a goal back for Spurs midway through the second half.

Fulham took an early lead after Oscar Bobb picked up the loose ball on the left-hand side after Raul Jimenez had challenged Radu Dragusin for Kenny Tete's cross from the opposite flank.

Bobb's deflected cross back in took a deflection and Wilson hooked the ball into the net from the edge of the six-yard box.

Spurs angrily insisted that Dragusin had been fouled by Jimenez in the build-up, but the goal stood following a VAR check.

There was no doubt about Fulham's second goal – a glorious first-time side-foot by Iwobi into the far corner of the net after he had exchanged passes with Wilson.

The hosts had a number of chances to extend their lead, including Calvin Bassey shooting over from close range when unmarked, and Emile Smith Rowe dragging an effort wide of the far post following a counter-attack.

Those misses kept Spurs in the game and they were given hope by Richarlison heading in Archie Gray's cross, but they were unable to find an equaliser.

Fulham: Leno, Tete, Diop, Bassey, Sessegnon, Berge, Iwobi (Cuenca 90), Wilson (Chukwueze 72), Smith Rowe (Cairney 72), Bobb (King 74), Jimenez (Muniz 72).
Subs not used: Lecomte, Castagne, Robinson, Reed.

Excellent Fulham beat Tottenham in convincing 2-1 win
First half goals from Wilson and Iwobi extend Tottenham's miserable 2026 at the Cottage

40 points on the board! Fulham have put themselves 8th in the Premier League table with a strong performance against a struggling Tottenham, with a wonderful first half seeing Wilson and Iwobi put the sword to our ailing visitors. Whilst our nerves were frayed in the second half, as our familiar inability to kill a game off let Richarlison claw the lead down to a single goal, resolute defending from the players gave Fulham a second win in a row in the league. Say it quietly, but there's a promising future in store for the rest of this campaign if the brilliance shown in this afternoon's match can be captured...

First Half
Tottenham, it must be said, are in a mess of a campaign right now. Postecoglou received considerable criticism for the dismal results endured across the league, and with the double blow of no Europa League cup run and an actually-competent set of newly promoted sides relegation has become a distinct possibility in North London. Those ruing our injury concerns now might wince at a glance at our opponent's absences: Udogie, Romero, Davies, Bergvall, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Kudus, Maddison, Odobert... many of these names would walk into today's Tottenham line-up without hesitation, and without them Tudor was left to piece together a makeshift outfit.

Such structural uncertainty invites danger, and it only took us seven minutes to open the scoring. It was hard to create space attacking Tottenham and Iwobi's insightful passing proved critical, moving play from left to right with a crossfield ball to Tete. In acres of space, the right-back floated the ball into the box. Jimenez leapt higher than Dragusin to flick the ball onto Bobb, tucked in on the goalline. Porro had lost his man, and the new signing lifted a pass back into the box, which after a frantic knock-on by Gallagher, was slammed into the net by Harry Wilson, turning on the volley to strike the ball beyond Vicario. An excellent goal, and one that punished the limp defending of the opponent early into the game.

It's not as though the visitors were poor footballers. At times they passed the ball fluidly, using Porro bursting forward on the right to target the space behind Sessegnon and combine with his teammates to create chances. Pace and style is not lost on them - Simons bustled about generating momentum, Solanke muscled himself into a few awkward spots, and quick combinations let Tottenham players bound into avenues of space. But out defending was resolute - we stayed tight to their men as a team, annulling the windows a sharper team might have exploited, and a string of interventions from Tete and a revitalised Diop, covering for the withdrawn Andersen, prevented Tottenham having full sight of goal. Palhinha, returning to the Cottage for the first time since his departure, had the closest attempt, taking a Muani lay off and firing it into Iwobi. Porro might have done more with another Muani lay-off, but in space on the "D" fired his volley over.

In the modern Premier League, you can't be that ponderous and expect your opponent to wait for you to score. Tottenham's habitual flimsiness kept yielding cheap possession, producing set pieces and moments of panic for Vicario. An Iwobi corner was misheaded by Bassey from a good position, and a delightful cross from the midfielder was kept in elegantly by Wilson, outfoxing Gray to put the ball into Vicario's sensitive six-yard box. The familiar nerves saw van de Ven bundle the ball about, but Tete could only steer his volley wide of the post in response.

Yet our persistence never faltered, and our second goal was the reward. A clever sequence of passes probed around Tottenham's half, stretching the skittish defence. Once again, Iwobi was key - receiving possession from Diop, he cut a sharp pass through Solanke to Wilson, then peeled away from the forward as he turned to follow the ball. Wilson fed him a pass back and the Nigerian, in a single touch, sidefooted the ball precisely between Vicario's dive and the left-post, hitting the woodwork and creating the second goal. From such a diagonal position, with the angles available to him, it was a tremendous achievement to score, and cemented Iwobi's place as one of our squad's finest players.

Tottenham sought a quick response, if only to save the afternoon from turning into a quagmire, and to their credit made the final section of the half a nervy watch. Again, the football had the right shape - quick passes between quick players to needle into sensitive areas. Muani drifted right to put Bassey under pressure with Porro, and upon winning the ball laid the ball off to Bissouma for a shot - it needed more power, and only produced a corner. The first came to nothing, and the second saw Dragusin waste a good delivery from the left by Simons by leaning back and planting a volley into the heavens. They had play concentrated in our half, but couldn't find the moment of composure - Fulham had the bodies in the right places, like Bassey repelling efforts from Muani and Palhinha on the edge of the box in quick succession. It was a really inspiring watch, seeing us hold their own against Tottenham, and our determination almost yielded a third - a late Sessegnon overlap produced yet another Fulham corner along the left, and after Iwobi's delivery was headed away by Dragusin, Bobb put the ball back across the box for Bassey, who from close range sliced his effort horrible off-target. Fulham's hunt for a third would have to continue after the break.

Second Half
"2-0 is the most dangerous lead in football" is a phrase that feels as old as sport itself, and Tottenham were certainly not going to give up on the game. However, Fulham's confidence hadn't dissipated in the half-time break, and matched their energy with a high tempo of our own. The pressing was excellent - Raul drifting rightwards to track runners in synchronisation with Wilson, Smith Rowe fizzing productively in the centre, Bobb prowling around in search of the ball. It meant Tottenham's first task was defending against our lust for goals - we were creating chances from their mistakes, increasing the pressure and seeking to drive at goal in its aftermath.

Sessegnon's long distance effort was well off-target, but the vision of Iwobi's pass and the space he had to take it should have been a warning to the visitors. A fierce piece of pressing on the left from Bobb saw Palhinha robbed of possession, and the Norwegian bearing down on goal. Gliding centrally, Smith Rowe cleverly peeled off into the chasm left on Porro's exposed flank - yet in the excitement he didn't spot Raul in front of goal, and bent a left-footed shot too wide to find the net (though in his defence, Jimenez might have stuck a foot out and tried to convert a reachable ball anyway.) A quick dispossession from Gallagher on Bassey along Tottenham's right might have offered a quick riposte, but Solanke couldn't reach the cross as it trickled along the goal.

We were the side on top, Tottenham barely able to string a set of passes together, and it was us that appeared the team gearing up for a Champions League knock-out game. Bobb was relishing his time on the left, combining with Smith Rowe to create havoc for Porro. One such move let Iwobi play Bobb through, darting away from Gallagher with a one-two, and but for van de Ven's alert slide tackle the ball across to Raul would have given us our third. Tete headed the corner wide under pressure, and similarly Wilson couldn't get a shot on the turn away from Palhinha enough to trouble Vicario.

Tottenham needed something to change, and a triple substitution arrived just before the hour mark - Muani, a jaded Simons and a hapless Gallagher off for Richarlison, Tel and Sarr. It arguably made things even jankier for Tottenham initially, a sea of bodies in black charging around in search of anything to inspire them. The signs were all positive - when Tottenham came forward, a smart pass from Iwobi by the corner-flag got us out of danger, found Smith Rowe on the halfway line, dispatched Wilson along the wing and sent him hurtling towards the goal. Van de Ven was alert to stop his cross from reaching a Fulham man, and his teammate Vicario shared the quality moments later. A kick from Leno sailed all the way to Bobb, who won the ball well away from Porro and fed it to Iwobi in space; the ball through to Smith Rowe, benefitting from Gray being dragged central and Tel not tracking back. He had space and time, but the keeper was out quickly and got two strong arms onto the ball before it surpassed him.

We couldn't quite find the killer blow though, and the lead remained a reachable two-goal margin. And as always, it only takes a moment in football for a game to turn on its head. A seemingly innocuous run from Tel along our right, who'd otherwise had a quiet cameo from the bench, took Tete all the way from the sidelines to the edge of our box. With the team's gaze on the winger, Gray had the opportunity to make a run away from Iwobi, and his overlap was duly noted by Tel with a pass; the cross was perfect, looping over our defence to Richarlison at the far post, who headed a striker's finish into the open goal.

From chasing a third to defending a narrow lead - the game had a different character now. Bassey earning he and Richarlison yellow cards for holding the ball away from the Tottenham players said it all - from a miserable period of play, Tottenham had caught us off-guard, and had the chance to salvage the game. They won it quickly from the restart, Gray moving it left to the danger-man Tel, but Tete, ever aware of a problem, put a sharp boot on the ball to stop the winger dazing the team with another cross. Dragusin could only put the resulting corner wide of goal.

Thankfully, Marco had the solution - a de facto quadruple change, Chukwueze, Muniz, Cairney and King arriving to revitalise the front line, gave us the tools we needed to keep Tottenham at bay. Our pressing had been a large part of our success, and its ebbing might have given Tottenham the window to submerge us - instead we made the change, and got ourselves back on the ball and back into contention. Chukwueze wasted no time getting involved, taking a Sessegnon cross and feeding Cairney for an effort on the edge of the box, dragged narrowly wide. A free kick for Tottenham turned into a counter-attack for Fulham, Cairney smartly holding the ball and releasing it for Berge to drive into Tottenham territory with. Chukwueze again used his pace well on the right, but couldn't quite find an angle to fire at goal from and instead moved it leftwards to Iwobi, who blasted his effort considerably over.

Our energy meant Tottenham were still not able to exert the dominance of the ball or the space that might have buckled our defence. Our team kept control of the match, be it with tight defending around our box or smooth play in possession, and ate time out of the game in the process. Meanwhile, Vicario still had work to do - Chukwueze's cross to Muniz was excellent, chested down superbly by the striker, and his volley needed a strong catch to end the chance. It was once again a masterful performance by Cairney, whose metronomic presence calmed the team at a critical juncture and led them through the nervy closing stage.

How critical, too - the arrival of Souza for Tottenham, an actual full-back, let Gray move out of the left-back position and gave Tel a similar overlap option to what Sess had enjoyed for us earlier in the game. Thankfully the sharpest of the chances, in which Sarr managed to get onto the ball in a congested box, was drilled into the sidenetting. Tete did his best to keep the avenue dry, and the stellar work of Diop, Bassey, Berge and substitute Cuenca late into the game prevented Leno from being called into action. As the last opportunity came upon us, Tel winning a corner, Vicario coming up to join the set-piece, Danso winning a free-kick following a scrappy clearance and Palhinha pumping a Richarlison set-up into a sea of Fulham players, we breathed a collective sigh of relief - the players, through their valiant efforts, had earnt the win.

Alex Iwobi, Marco's Mr. Reliable
Tottenham aren't exactly playing like a European-calibre opponent at the minute, and their football continues to be laden with holes and errors, but Fulham were still the team that had to act, and laid enough punishment over the course of the game to make the difference. This is what Iwobi is so good at - his intelligence, versatility and skill as a footballer turn the screw in the narrow moments, advantaging all the times Tottenham presented gaps in their set-up. With Bissouma and Palhinha undersupported in the middle, and the pressing relieving them of the ball so frequently, Iwobi was involved constantly. His goal cements a fine performance - and what a goal it was, a reminder that in another team the man would be at the finishing end of many more chances than we see for us.

Unsurprisingly the forwards had a good day too. There is the temptation to let the wasted chances cloud the perception of the play, but it was a really strong outing for the team - Wilson got his 10th league goal with a sharp finish, and he and Raul worked nicely to pester Gray at left-back. Bobb looked like a man playing his 50th game for Fulham rather than his fifth - smooth, confident and athletic, there is no doubt in my mind that the goals and assists will start flowing for him soon. Sess enjoyed overlapping alongside him too, always an encouraging sign, and the flurry of corners and pressure we put on Porro early on was caused by the pair working nicely together throughout the half. Of course we should have scored more than the two we did, but why dwell on the negatives? The team worked tirelessly to put themselves into the position they did, in which Tottenham looked second-rate and well-beaten, and we should be proud of the football our attackers dazed the Cottage with across the game.

Defensively there's real pride to be taken as well. Andersen is a good centre-back but there have been whispers about his replacement for some time now - what a challenge for him to return after this performance from Diop, impervious to so many attacks today. My highlight was a fabulous sliding tackle that denied Muani the chance to strike at goal in the first half, but you could pick from a dozen resolute interventions from the man. Bassey's equally impressive display shouldn't go unnoticed either - after a few dips he looks back to his best, dominating attackers all day and cancelling out the pace thrown at him across the match.

Tete is so consistently good that it feels redundant writing it again, and whilst I don't think Sessegnon will be happy with the Richarlison goal it's also worth stressing that between Gallagher and Sarr very little was created along Tottenham's right, and Robinson has work to do before automatically regaining his place back. The substitutes, once again, made the difference - effort, resilience and quality gave Fulham the steel to avoid the Tottenham comeback, with Cairney and Chukwueze the pick of the bunch today. Slowly, the squad is starting to take a healthier shape!

Tottenham - bound for the Championship?
But then we turn to our opponents; Tottenham are such a mess that it almost feels cheap to celebrate the win too greatly. The key word is almost - I will stand by the fact they are a side with a paucity of confidence enduring a horrific injury run that feels like it started at some point in 2023, and that the actual quality of the team is far above what we're seeing at the moment. The fact they haven't had a manager last more than a couple of seasons since Pochettino, the shoddy recruitment, the decline in the quality of the squad (masked heavily by Kane and Son's heroics) and the emotional toll of losing so many games last year all contribute to the situation Tudor finds himself now, where a team of international footballers stare nervously at the relegation zone, a couple of places beneath them.

So many times they don't communicate and lose track of what's going on in their side. I don't recall Gallagher doing anything of note until seeing him pop up in the box at the start of the second half, and this is their brand new signing! The lack of a real winger really hurts the team - Simons drifting central meant the left was vacant, as Gray didn't have the confidence to get himself into the left channel enough, and Porro alone worked the right with Gallagher playing so hopelessly, offering Fulham the easy riposte of an attack through our left. Bissouma and Palhinha are an unwieldy pairing trying to forge chemistry in full view of every opponent, who duly take advantage of their mishaps on the ball. Dragusin was out of his depth and doesn't have the same tenacity as van de Ven. The result was a nervy spine for the team, a shambles of players trying to piece together their form, and a spattering of chaotic moments Fulham indulged in exploiting.

Things were better when the changes were made, in large part because they took off the deeply underperforming attackers scattered across the team. I would personally have left Muani on over Solanke - for all his inaccuracies, Muani at least seemed to force Diop to deal with him, whereas Solanke was contained for much of the game. Tel and Sarr have surely made a case to start Tottenham's next set of games, as they actually put their energy into attacks with a tangible product, and Souza at left-back gave Tottenham further options from the flanks. Fulham defended well, but they only had to defend to such an intensity for 30 minutes or so - make the tweaks earlier, and perhaps the comeback would have been completed.

That's the cruelty of the current situation - the team haven't forgotten how to play football, they are missing their key players, trying to learn new positions on the fly, attempting to stave off relegation and are expected to play top-level football all at the same time, and the obvious fixes we can offer are continually disrupted by the injuries, inconfidence and tumult of the Premier League. Tudor can only learn on the job - he has 10 games to save the season, and arguably the club, and with the games coming thick and fast it will take a serious effort to keep the unthinkable from happening.

Happily, relegation is a word no longer in the 2025-26 lexicon for Fulham. Our 8th place ranking looks like Everest from Tottenham's position, and indeed it is far likelier we steal a European spot than Tottenham somehow wrestle themselves to another European honour this year. Given our flaws and inconsistencies, it feels fanciful to imagine this team Europe next year; but whilst we remain in touching distance of sides like Everton and Brentford, sides just as flawed and inconsistent, who knows what is possible? We live for the moment, and if we can complete league doubles over sides we wouldn't have dreamed of beating a few years ago, there's no reason Silva and team can't turn this season into something special. Keep up the performances like this, and perhaps we won't have to dream for much longer.

Tottenham: Igor Tudor makes Fulham 'cheat' claim over controversial Harry Wilson goal
Radu Dragusin was pushed in a similar incident to one involving Gabriel last weekend

Igor Tudor has accused Raul Jimenez of cheating to gain an advantage for Fulham's opening goal in their 2-1 win over Tottenham.

Harry Wilson's seventh-minute goal was allowed to stand after a VAR review, with Jimenez adjudged not to have fouled Radu Dragusin with a push in the back when contesting for a header with the Spurs defender in the build-up to the goal.

Tudor was visibly annoyed that VAR had stuck with referee Thomas Bramall's original decision, and when asked about the decision in his post-match press conference, the Spurs boss was adamant that he thought it was a foul.

"Of course it's a foul, I think. Nine out of 10 people will say it's a foul, I believe, because it's so obvious, you know," Tudor said.

Spurs, who remain without a league win in 2026, were on the wrong end of a similar decision last weekend, when Randal Kolo Muani's goal was ruled out for a push on Arsenal defender Gabriel.

Spurs went on to lose that game 4-1, but had Kolo Muani's goal stood, the scores would have been levelled at 2-2.

Wilson's opening goal also came at a pivotal period of the game, with Fulham seizing the early advantage, and Tudor bemoaned the lack of consistency from the officials.

Tudor continued: "Sometimes the criteria don't have consistency, last week what happened in our game against Arsenal, same thing, also one situation before, we conceded a goal, they didn't get a foul after they give, so, incredible."

When asked if he had spoken to the referee about the decision, Tudor said he was "too nervous" to speak to him as he felt the decision was "so obvious".

"No, no, no, no, I was too nervous to speak with him, because it's so obvious, you know," Tudor continued.

"Sometimes they don't understand it's enough, even small contact, you know, if it gives you an advantage to score the goal, you need to cancel this, finish it. It's not about a normal duel when he's soft, no, when he pushes with the hands and don't watch the ball, no. Sometimes it's just easy to get advantage.

"So, this is ridiculous to not give the foul, because the consequence is too big. It's not a small foul in the middle of the pitch, it's a goal after. So, there is a logic in that, so the referee, beautiful thing to keep playing here, let's play strong, duel, it's fantastic, I like it.

"But there is a logic, if the goal is, because he take advantage, not thinking about football, he was not thinking about the ball, he was thinking how to cheat. So, he cheated the player with pushing and they scored the goal. So, it's a logic, it's a cheating and there's the foul.

"It's not the thing of duel and they want that here is a football is more, you know, tough and we like the duels, it's nothing with that. So, there was no logic in this decision and logic is above everything, after come other things."

Player Ratings: Fulham 2-1 Spurs
Scores after our we complete our first double over Tottenham in two decades.

Well we made that a LOT tougher than we needed to, but Fulham just about got the job done against relegation threatened Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage. Lovely. goals from Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi put us in the driving seat, but our failure to take our chances for a third nearly cost us two precious points.

Ultimately, we held on comfortably enough and the win takes Fulham to the 'magic' 40 point mark.

For today's Player Ratings, we're also giving you the scores voted by Fulham Fanalyists on the excellent Fanalysis app. Download the app for free and you can drop your ratings and react with fellow Fulham fans.

Bernd Leno

Solid game from Bernd who couldn't do much about Richarlison's header. He dealt really well with some testing corners late on which preserved Fulham's three points.

Fulhamish Score: 7/10
Fanalysis Rating: 65/100

Kenny Tete

Really enjoying Kenny being back in the side. He not only provides protection in his position, but I do think the rest of the defence play better in the knowledge they have his robustness and physicality.

It wasn't vintage King Kenny, but he still had a solid game. He maybe should have done slightly better with the shot he dragged wide in the first half, but it was his teasing cross that eventually led to Wilson's opening goal.

Fulhamish Score: 7/10
Fanalysis Rating: 72/100

Issa Diop

ISSA DIOP BABY! How this man does not play more football for us I don't understand. The Frenchman was absolutely brilliant in the first half, making some wonderful tackles, particularly the one on Randall Kolo Muani that he timed to perfection. He was only deputising because Joachim Andersen was ill, but you do wonder what else he needs to do to deserve a starting run.

Fulhamish Score: 8/10
Fanalysis Rating: 76/100

Calvin Bassey

Defensively, it was decent enough from Calvin. He still gives me moments where my heart is in my mouth every game, but more often than not he corrects his own mistakes after making them. The biggest negative was his wild shot at the end of the first half where he should have done so much better. If he makes that 3-0 before half-time, then it would have been goodnight and god bless.

Fulhamish Score: 6.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 72/100

Ryan Sessegnon

Ryan looked good going forward, but I do just worry about him defensively. In the first half, he was responsible for some poor clearances that led to unnecessary Spurs chances and then he was caught out for Richarlison's goal, leaving the Brazilian with a routine header at the back post. Both left-backs have had defensive errors in them recently, and I think the spot is still up for grabs.

Fulhamish Score: 5.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 69/100

Sander Berge

A lot of talk about Sander after Sunderland, but he was good in the middle of the park today. Obviously, he's being overshadowed by Alex Iwobi - but you get the impression that Sander does not mind living in the shadows. He broke up Spurs attacks well and moved the ball nicely all around the park.

Fulhamish Score: 6.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 76/100

Alex Iwobi

Wonderful performance from Alex once again in midfield capped off with one of our goals of the season. It won't win GOTS, only because Harrison Reed and Harry Wilson have that particular battle sewn up - but it's a beautiful goal that was worthy of winning any match. He should have got a second assist had Smith Rowe finished the chance that Alex served up on a dinner plate for him.

Alex's passing range in the midfield was excellent, he's always striving to advance the ball, whilst acknowledging the risk of a mis-placed pass in the area of the pitch he's normally occupying. Whilst Alex might not be over-taking the two Harry's for the goal gong, could he be in the running for Fulham's Player of the Season?

Fulhamish Score: 9/10 (MOTM)
Fanalysis Rating: 87/100

Harry Wilson

Another game where Harry doesn't impact the match all that much, but still ends up with two goal contributions on his record. He makes that opening goal look easy, but as Calvin Bassey proved later on in the half, having such poise and technique in a crowded penalty box is not a skill everyone possesses. It was then Harry who tee'd up Alex Iwobi before his wonderful shot. That's now 9 goals and 6 assists in the league this season, hugely impressive numbers.

He was taken off mid-way through the second half after picking up a little knock, hopefully it was nothing too serious and just a precaution to take him off.

Fulhamish Score: 7.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 87/100

Emile Smith Rowe

Look, ESR was good again today, but I do have a bit of a bone to pick because he HAS to score that chance that would have made it 3-0 after Alex Iwobi put him one-on-one against Vicario. He also missed another good chance at the start of the second half, which in fairness, may have been marginally offside.

I know it's a bit harsh to only pick out Smith Rowe's finishing, but we are at the point now where we need goals and assists from our number 10. His close control, passing and progression with the ball are lovely, but a free-scoring Smith Rowe could be the difference between a historic season and one that just peters out. Now is the time where ESR must start contributing to goals, had we thrown that game away today, that miss at 2-0 would be getting a lot more scrutiny.

Fulhamish Score: 7/10
Fanalysis Rating: 73/100

Oscar Bobb

Olé Olé, Oscar Bobb, Bobb, Bobb has arrived on the scene! I thought Oscar looked brilliant on that left-wing today. Sure, he's still finding his feet, but I think we have a really capable player on our hands here. There was a little moment of skill in the first half on the touchline that oozed class, and his cross that led to Wilson's opener was perfectly weighted to cause chaos in the Spurs defence.

Left-wing is obviously Oscar's least favourite side, but even so he's still more than capable of doing a job out there. He just feels like a Marco Silva winger, not blessed with pace, but technically gifted and able to glide in either direction. This was definitely a full debut to get excited about.

Fulhamish Score: 8/10
Fanalysis Rating: 74/100

Raul Jimenez

Bit of a quieter day at the inn for Raul after his two goal haul last week in the North-East, but still plenty of hard-work up top fighting Radu Dragusin. He did really well to flick on Kenny Tete's cross and the protests by Dragusin and Tudor were embarrassing.

Was unlucky not to make it 3-0 in the second half, but he was well blocked by Van De Ven. I guess the biggest compliment you could pay Raul was that we looked significantly weaker up front when Muniz came on.

Fulhamish Score: 7/10
Fanalysis Rating: 74/100

Subs:
Rodrigo Muniz

It will take time for him to get up to speed, but Rodrigo looks miles off being able to adequately contribute to the team right now. There's not too much to analyse, because he just really struggled to get into the game. I'm not too worried, but right now there is no chance of Muniz dislodging Jimenez as our starting number 9.

Fulhamish Score: 5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 57/100

Tom Cairney

Classic TC performance that. Came on just after Spurs got back into the game and eased the pressure massively. Calm on the ball and able to take the sting out of Spurs' mini fightback. Must admit, I bricked it when he gave away the ball in the 96th minute - but thankfully for TC it led to nothing.

Fulhamish Score: 6.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 64/100

Samu Chukwueze

Great to see Samu back out on the pitch. Whilst TC slowed the game down, Samu gave the Spurs left-hand side something to worry about. It was another good sub by Marco that helped quell the potential comeback by Igor Tudor's men. Probably the best out of all the subs

Fulhamish Score: 7/10
Fanalysis Rating: 72/100

Josh King

Some nice touches, but didn't have that long on the pitch to really make an impact.

Fulhamish Score: 6/10
Fanalysis Rating: 65/100

Jorge Cuenca

Brought on at the very end for Alex Iwobi, but no real moments of note.

Fulhamish Score: 5.5/10
Fanalysis Rating: 65/100

Marco Silva

Last summer, Tottenham overlooked Marco Silva for their head coach position and today the Spurs hierarchy must have wondered if they made a bit of a mistake as Fulham completed the double over Tottenham for the first time in 22 years.

Obviously it's helpful that Marco has pretty much a fully fit squad to choose from, but the difference in competence between the two teams was stark. The team feels really balanced at the moment and Marco is able to change one or two components each game without changing the overall feel of the team.

He must be tearing his hair out at some of the chances we're squandering, but the triple sub that Silva made after the Richarlison goal was enough to quell the fightback.

Whether Marco really wanted the Tottenham job is not known, but either way, today must have felt like a sweet one for him.

Fulhamish Score: 8/10
Fanalysis Rating: 83/100

Wilson nursing ankle injury after Fulham's derby victory
Marco Silva confirmed that Harry Wilson twisted his ankle during Fulham 2-1 win over Spurs.

The Welshman gave Fulham the lead early on but later picked up an injury and played on before being taken off in the second half.

Whites boss Silva said: "At half-time he gave us the feedback that we probably have to change.

"He kept going but it was very difficult for him in the last 20 minutes to support (the team).

"He twisted the ankle a bit. Let's see how it's going to be in the next few days."

Goals from Wilson and Alex Iwobi  gave Fulham a deserved victory.

The hosts were two up by the interval and had a number of chances to add a third, but had to hold firm after Richarlison pulled a goal back for Spurs midway through the second half.

"We deserve it. The score should be different, with the amount of chances we created. Great performance from us," Silva declared.

Silva also praised defender Issa Diop, who came into the side after Joachim Andersen was forced to miss out because of illness.

"Issa was at home last night, not even with us at the hotel, credit to him," said Silva.

"What a performance from him. Leadership, focus, and he was crucial in leading the back line. Congratulations to him. A top professional."

Fulham hit the front in Division One South East
Catch up on all Sunday's action from the FA Women's National League

Fulham climbed to the Division One South East summit on a busy Sunday of FA Women's National League action.

Here's how results unfolded across the country...

Cottagers win again

Division One South East leaders Fulham kept their title challenge on track with a 1-0 win away at Luton Town.

Leila Lister's second-half strike was the difference as the Cottagers climbed to the top of the table, one point ahead of Norwich City with a game in hand.

Elsewhere, Chatham Town beat AFC Sudbury 5-0. Karesha Iton's opener separated the sides at the break before Lottie Sharp scored twice alongside goals from Jess King and Amy Russ to seal a comprehensive win that keeps the Suds in the relegation zone.

Wolves closing in

Unbeaten Wolves moved to within a point of Northern Premier Division leaders Burnley with a 3-0 win at Middlesbrough.

Two goals in the space of five first-half minutes set the visitors on their way to a 14th win in 15 league matches this season, an own goal quickly followed by Louanne Worsey's header.

New signing Tammi George made the points safe with four minutes to play, netting her first goal since returning to Wolves.

Liverpool Feds scored four first-half goals in a 5-0 win over bottom club Sporting Khalsa.

Chantelle Thompson, Aleesha Collins, Chloe Fisher and Jess Brady did the damage in the opening 45 minutes, with Thompson completing her brace after the break.

Fourth-placed Stoke City defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-0, with the goals coming from Evie Priestley, Delphi Cole and Ruby Millington.

Cherries stay in touch

AFC Bournemouth kept pace at the top of the Southern Premier Division with a 4-1 win away at Real Bedford.

The Cherries reaced into a 2-0 lead through Abby Jones and Sophie Quirk before Real got one back through Breon Grant.

But Georgia Wilson and Jenna Markham both netted after the break to help Bournemouth stay in touch with Watford and Plymouth in the title race.

Elsewhere, Oxford United were 2-1 winners over Exeter City thanks to Riva Casley's late header while AFC Wimbledon beat Billericay Town 4-0 to move out of the relegation zone.

Lewes beat Hashtag United 3-1 thanks to goals from Chelsea Ferguson, Ruby Seaby and Layla Banaras.

Biggins holds nerve

Louise Biggins' penalty earned Division One North leaders Huddersfield Town a narrow 1-0 win at home to Durham Cestria.

The Terriers remain two points clear of Leeds United, who climbed into second following a 3-2 victory over Chester-le-Street Town. Brittany Sanderson and Alice Hughes helped the hosts into a 2-1 lead at the break before Ellie White scored direct from a corner to extend the advantage and ensure Jenny Ashton's stoppage time strike was just a consolation.

Vicki Burton scored four minutes into added time to earn Norton & Stockton Ancients a dramatic point in a 2-2 draw at Chorley, while Doncaster Rovers Belles' clash with Cheadle Town Stingers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Robins and Moneys win big

The Division One South West title race continues to heat up, as Swindon Town and Moneyfields both won big.

Swindon beat Marine Academy Plymouth 10-0, with Libby Davies bagging a birthday hat-trick helping her side keep the pressure on league leaders Moneyfields.

Moneys won 5-0 away at Abingdon United thanks to a dominant second-half performance.

Brooke Garcia and Ali Hall both scored twice as Moneys scored four after the break following a tight first half.

They sit a point ahead of Swindon at the summit having played a game more.

Snape injury forces abandonment

Northampton Town's clash with Sutton Coldfield Town was the only Division One Midlands game to survive the weather.

Chloe Bickley gave the visitors an 84th-minute lead but the match was then abandoned in stoppage time due to a serious injury to the Cobblers' Lacey Snape.

A Northampton statement said: "We have received a positive update on Lacey Snape's injury.

Lacey has been taken to hospital to be assessed further and everyone at Northampton Town Football Club wishes her well for a speedy recovery. Thank you to both sets of medical staff for their assistance."

Leila Lister scored at Leicester
