Title: Roberto De Zerbi
Post by: C Block on March 15, 2026, 05:09:00 PM
If we were linked with him in the summer if and when Marco goes ,would you be happy to hear it ?
I would.
Spurs have been linked with him but surely their first choice is Poch.

Don't think that the ' man in tights " could ever cope with his acerbic character

He might be a bit volatile for our board? Having said that what has he done or achieved as a head coach come manager? Could well be wrong here but just feel his reputation is a bit before him?

He wouldn't come to us. Typical dreamland no sense of what Fulham are FOF post. In my opinion

Definitely not. Get Hellberg in if Boro somehow manages to miss out on promotion or Schreuder who's working wonders at NEC.

NEC play an attractive attacking style, would be interesting to see what Dick would do in Premier League. Looking forward to a visit there in May.

Maybe another Portuguese (just to keep continuity) ?

I wouldn't mind a good German coach but I've got these bad memories of a German manager we used to have and a piece of cheese...  ::cry::

He has stated that he will not return to a management position before the end of the season.  He is still supposed to be on the short list for the Spurs job.

What about Kjetil Knutsen? Better CV than Frank who worked wonders at the bus stop. Bodo Glimt have some very impressive scalps in Europe . Doubt we'd appeal to him though tbh

I don't think he'd leave them for anyone tbf. I think he's very settled there.

Marco has done for this club. We have won games where we never used to.

If he does go I won't forget his efforts and was impressed by the Saints' boss last week. Tonda Eckert

That's just a silly comment that completely undermines your overall argument. Silva is a good manager who has served us well.
Whether he has taken us as far as he can is another argument and perhaps one that you should focus on.
And for what it is worth it's a no to DeZerbi from me. He just wouldn't fit the ethos of our club.

He just renewed his contract days ago, he barely speaks English, and he is in a Champions League club that has one foot in the quarter finals. Chances are that getting Alex Ferguson to come back from retirement and take over would have better odds, sorry!

Do you think Fergusoin would move South then?

I would have Rosenior once he's fallen out at Stamford Bridge. Good young manager who can return to where he played - and as a bonus can bring Godo back with him.
