I' m glad I didn't go. Let's hope we improve in the second otherwise it will be 5 or 6-0.
I don't think we should take the option on chuk- and what's happened to Harry in the last few games
And what exactly is the point of Smith Rowe
With the exception of Wilson who looks to have mentally checked out ahead of his move to Villa, I don't think we can really critique forwards too much for the rest of the season because they're now actively being hampered by the poor tactics that Silva is enforcing on them & I would suggest that it's now Silva who is the issue rather than the players. Offensively we've regressed a lot this season and a lot of it stems from slow pondering football that doesn't allow pacy wingers to actually do anything
I'm sorry but they are all on the beach.... Pathetic performance.
I think we can all accept a defeat against the league leaders, but we sure are not putting up a fight
Have we not watched every team play Arsenal for the last 6-8 weeks . Hold a low block and they don't know what to do . We have given gyorkes acres to run into behind, exactly what he did to us when at Coventry. It's just so bad
Worse than Leeds or Everton
I expected this
Think yourself Lucky, at least we aren't in a relegation battle

Exactly. This lot were beaten in the tunnel. A pathetic, weak mentality.
No worse than pretty much every time we play city
Haha
Utter crap as expected away at potential champions elect with reed starting
Onto Bournemouth, massive game which decides if the season is still on or not

Lucky? I bet the bottom 3 would go there with more fight than we did, it was a laughable first half performance
Pathetic spineless performance

Agree with everything except the last sentence. I think the season is probably over.

I imagine all the agent chat about talks at Villa are where his heads at.

Silva and his team have clearly lost interest.
I don't buy this we are on the beach, most if not all these players would want to play champions league next season, for me this is all on Marco. Playing his favourite players who are not on form and ignoring others and playing players out of position. This season is far from over but it soon will be if our tactics don't change. The most important result this weekend was Brighton getting beat, we win our last three games we will be in with a great shout.

??? The only one playing out of position today is Chuk. We don't have a deep squad and with the injuries we apparently have this was probably the best squad we could fill. Though, perhaps I'd like to have seen King in midfield today instead of Reed.
I'm currently on my way home from the game, not ashamed to say I left at half time, along with many others incidentally,
The game was all over long before kick off when the teams got announced,
Reed, Lukic and Smith-Rowe trying to compete with Rice, Saka and Eze is a total miss match and so it proved,
No complaints today we were beaten by a much better side
This season can't end soon enough.
I don't see what would ever motivate this side to produce a performance when there's something special to play for. Time and again the opportunity is there and we just roll over.
They'll talk about Europe, winning a cup, pushing on but where's the desire? I love Marco Silva and him leaving wouldn't suddenly fix everything, but he feels like a steady hand rather than someone finding answers to this problem.
Against top teams, we get penned in from minute one and play like we already expect to lose. "It's Arsenal, we weren't going to win anyway" yet a team one point above us went there a few weeks ago and won.
Pathetic to a man fulham.
Sky bet had us at 6-1 for the win.
If that had been the score it would of flattered us
I don't want to keep harping on about past players, but I do think we're missing the passion that Palhinha brought to the team. We need him again or someone with his passion and talent.

Yeah a starting midfield of Reed and Lukic is relegation level.
The problem is our small squad is lacking in top quality replacements when we are missing key players. We just can´t cope against the top teams missing starters like Iwobi, Berge, Sess, Kevin and Tete.
That was exactly the same as the City away game. First half it was pathetic and second an improvement but with the cutting edge of a rubber knife. It p***** me right off. ::angry:: ::tongue::
Stinking performance, on the back of the comms rallying cry crap posted by the club. No drive and no belief. Stems from Silva. Has to be, it's year are year, same. You watch other sides going for it, we piss around and walk out with a defeated attitude from the off, City, Arsenal just have to turn up and the points are theirs. Lot of these so called professionals need a solid look at themselves and the manager, well, we need a change as the mentality is driven from him.

Well,We did draw the second half!
I've said it on other threads I think all this - on the beach, not motivated, checked out, mentally weak stuff etc. is almost total rubbish (perhaps it might apply to Wilson).
We didn't lack effort, energy, commitment or belief against Villa and most certainly were not on any beach.
Today we had multiple injuries and a squad riddled with a virus. If our lads are anything less than 100% we simply are not going to even get close to a team of the quality of Arsenal.
Give them a break, calm down and let's see how we get on in the next one.
Comments on BBC Page.
What an embarrassing attempt by Fulham to play Football,I didn't realise how useless they are.😅

Came here to say something similar; we lack steel and are too easily pushed over. Appreciate that attempts are being made to reduce the average age of the squad, but have to be careful not to overload ourselves with diddymen.
I think this Is a lot of the problem . Teams fancy playing us as we are too nice . Under silva previously we were also very physical , that's all gone .
Ps if it's true Wilson has an agreement with villa ( which seems laughable at the moment) , why are we still playing him ? And at this stage of the season if silva isn't staying, move him on now and be ready for next season .
