Well, WADR to our American posters, it is the country that pretty well invented obesity so could be something in it!

On a more serious note, it's always a tricky one when players get replaced at top clubs. They can either slowly move down the leagues, they can go and play abroad in a country where, once again WADR, isn't one in which top football is played, or they can simply hang up their boots, a la Scholes.

Thing is I saw both Beckham and Henry play live this season, and Henry still has a lot of football left in him. Beckham is slower than Shefki Kuqi now, but still has the set piece skill. He will crash and burn if he comes back to the Prem though. He will have a much easier time with PSG. Keane was on international duty so I didn't get a chance to see him play unfortunately

Well, this would cause quite a quandry to this LA boy. On the one hand Fat Frank at the Galaxy.   :020:
On the other, the only other squad in town is owned by a Mexican club that will only use native born Mexicans.   :020: :020:

Well, there's always whatever team Eddie Johnson is playing for these days.

What should I do Finney?  :023:

Just pray that Fat Frank never comes to LA. In other new on the who is coming to the MLS front, I have read rumors about Drogba possibly heading to NYRB to replace the dp slot that will be open when Marquez leaves.

NYRB needs real defenders more than anything. Upfront they are not too bad (Henry, Rodgers, and Agudelo) but certainly Drogba would be a huge upgrade.
But my view of NYRB (and what little else I have seen in the MLS), defence is completely ignored so they should focus on bringing in what seasoned defenders they can find.
But defence has never been sexy so I guess not.
