Title: Crew Midfielder Urso Dead at 22

Columbus Crew Midfielder Kirk Urso died last night in Columbus. The details are sparse but the team and supporters are stunned. RIP, Kirk.

All that is known is Kirk collapsed and police were called to the bar, at which time he was rushed to the hospital. The coroner is investigating the cause of death.

The Franklin County Coroner believes Urso's cause of death was likely natural. It is shocking when a seemingly healthy 22 year old dies suddenly.

It's fairly rare that we see the word "tragic" used appropriately, but I think it applies here.  A young, seemingly healthy athlete dies before his career and more importantly, life can really begin.

Serious bummer...
