Title: BeIN Sport grabs U.S. away World Cup qualifiers
Post by: BarryP on August 23, 2012, 04:38:52 AM
US next two away match rights purchased by BeIn Sports (http://www.socceramerica.com/article/47881/bein-sport-grabs-us-away-world-cup-qualifiers.html).  That's nice if you have DirecTV's sports package I guess.

I have cable so I don't get beIN Sport (yet). At least now I can go down to the local sports bar and watch the matches, which is better than the previous option of a grainy internet feed in Spanish on my computer.

"GolTV, which formerly owned some of the TV rights now held by BeIN Sport, is scrambling for new programming. The bilingual TV network's latest programming addition: Mexico's Ascenso MX. It will carry more than 120 matches from the renamed Second Division."

Seems like Gol really dropped the ball here.
