Thought this discussion topic might be more appropriate & get more thoughtful responses over here:
1. Based on what i saw yesterday, how happy is Clint Dempsey that he didn't go to Liverpool ?
2. I wonder if Klinsmann made any calls to his old club Spurs and said you need to get that boy. Pleased that CD got the call up to the national team. I figured his new club would want him to stay & train with them over the break.
I'm sure he is quite happy because he doesn't have to move away from London and realistically Spurs are closer to CL than Liverpool. I'm sure Klinsmann had a conversation or two with them. I don't see them just calling up on the last day without reason.
