Petric,Frei, Dejac all play
Fulham Starting XI v Spurs: Schwarzer; Riether, Hughes, Senderos, Riise; Dejagah, Sidwell, Diarra, Frei; Berbatov, Petric
Fulham bench: Etheridge, Kelly, Baird, Karagounis, Duff, Rodallega and Richardson
Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey & Defoe
Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Carroll, Livermore, Sigurdsson & Falque
decent spurs team.. but not much on the bench
I like it. COYW!
Love the two wingers but would have played Rodders up front because of the pace. Petric and Berbatov together I am not so sure about. But glad we look to be going for it.
Adventurous team.
Not sure about starting Frei over Duff. Duff is so bloody reliable and consistent. Frei tends to drift in and out, and not give much cover. Prefer him as a late sub. Hope he plays a blinder today.

I have been wanting to continue seeing them work up top... they both have a level of class nobody on our team can duplicate... maybe Duff on the wing for me though but I am sure that is fear of Spurs speed
Let's hope jol's seen something in training that's made him pick petric - and let's face it he was sublime at times in our last home against Sunderland. Coyw!!
Like the team.a lot.
Have to say I was a bit when Dempsey turned and was about to shoot. Damn you Frei btw.
Not seeing much of the ball!
Petric REALLY needs to be burying that. What a chance!
Bale booked for a dive. Why does such a talented player keep diving.
His reputation goes before him now.
On another note am I ignorant for not realising Kelly still played for us?
Reither off injured. That hurts, has been class all season.
Now Dejegah as well. And how was that not a foul on Vertongen? Made no attempt to go for the ball.
Man City 1 - 1 Everton
QPR 1 - 1 Villa
0-0 in all othe other matches so far.
Are we heading for another 0-0 ?
Are we playing away? Only on the counter, that's too little.
81% of our attacks down the centre.
Frei hasnt been in the game at all, and loses the ball so much. I'd have started Richardson.
We usually perform better second half so lets hope that happens again
Would like to see us be a bit more of an attacking force. As we said before they are not great at the back. But so far so ok. We know they have great talent to change the game at any time. So keeping them quiet so far has been good.
Sidwell doing a good job again.
Well its there for the taking in the 2nd half. Maybe we're being more cagey because of all the goals we've let in over the past month or so. We can win this game. COYW
The goals have really dried up. We must take our chances as you only get so many against top half sides.
Might help if the home support was singing for the players instead of waiting for Dempsey to get on the ball so they can boo.....
I like Petric and think Gale was being hard him for the effort on goal that went straight into Lloris. I think Duff should come on for Frei...
Such a dire game so far, hopefully the second half will be a little more lively. Such a shame about Riether, would be such a massive blow if he's going to have a prolonged spell on the side-lines.
Another impressive right back injured against Spurs in winter. Let's hope it isn't as serious as Grygera. Although, Kelly's done alright after his first touch.
Overall, not much in it so far really.
Kelly has done well so far. Hopefully we do better 2nd half
Is it me or do players seem to go down as if shot more than they used to do. Old ladies barge into me in the supermarket & I dont fall over clutching my face while rolling over 3 times.
Sidwell putting himself about well, frie not at the races today duff or rodders should come on for him imo
COYW! Fulham to to take control of this one. 3-1

It is disgusting... Makes football almost unwatchable these days.... Bale is a disgrace
Right, I'm going to make a cup of tea. Who wants one?

is the adnettv thread up and running today? i can't find a thing
betcha Sidwell will still get some grief though.
Yes it is
Schwarzer....
What was that???
I've said this a few times this season.. Why is Schwarzer still our #1?
He's not been good enough even at times last season.
Tell me again that Swart is a keeper that deserves the no 1 spot still
Awful keeping by Mark. Pathetic.
Its time. Berbs up front and Richardson for Frai!
This really is a season of GK cock ups. A keeper should not be beaten from 30 yards.
We will not lose this game
Keep the faith guys. Plenty of time left. COYW!
weak by Frei
Frei has to come off. Not been in the game at all. Given the amount of criticism Rodallega gets playing out of position that side, Frei has been much worse
Spurs really haven't been very good today. If that's the goal that decides the game then it'll be SO disappointing.
Bale being injured isn't bad news though...
Bale down, karma....
there is something not right about us right now....can't put my finger on it....its been there for several weeks
Two inverted wingers now, so all width will need to come from the full backs. Meaning the defence will be more stretched. I suppose that means Senderos is more likely to be at fault for something!!
Bale has now even dived into the shower.
We're lacking pace up front to stretch the game. Rod needs to come on

Absence of Ruiz, surely. No creativity in midfield and no good passes to Berbatov.
No radio no nothing whats going on chaps "stuck at work "

0-1. Bad mistake by Schwarzer (shot by Sandro he should gotten). Fulham not really into the game. Berba brilliant though
We are playing so much better today but the missed chances could cost us dearly. Come on, get that goal we deserve.
Got what we deserve for being so negative
Senderos you prat.
And thats it. Poor D from Senderos and Kelly.
Wow, didnt Senderos look world class then..
That is why you can never play Senderos
Now that I have turned the match off I can start making hot wings earlier than I had planned. Every cloud has a silver lining!

Exactly. No creativity. We don't look the same without him. 0-2 now. Game over.
At least we get a Newcastle squad as decimated by injuries as we are next week. Really need 3 points from that one.
Lloris has only had to make 1 save, defending has been awful. Spurs havent needed to be good
Berbatov cant win us games on his own. Him and Petric cant start together, just doesnt work. You can see why Frei didnt start at Cardiff
Play Petric and Berbatov together and we just are so blunt up front. We can put balls into the area but never look to get on the end of many of them.
Spuds never looked as if they needed to break into top gear today and our mistakes have made this an easy win when a bit of luck and more penetration may have made us a threat.
But players back next week. So here is hoping we can get back on track.

1 shot on target so far.
Our defence is terrible
Ok, I've defended Senderos rigidly until right now... But I've had enough, I can't any more. He is dire.
There, I said it. It's now up to him to prove me wrong.

Maybe its that simple. Ruiz was not back long enough to really get things going but we are really not very good in the midfield right now. So much so we should probably just sit back and play Hodgson style of game until we get someone in. Ruiz is not the answer because if he has proved one thing, it is he can't stay healthy. We need someone else. I think he needs to play in a league where its less physical. He is much better that way this year but he is becoming like AJ, we spend tons to get him, and he spends most of his time on the physio table. Lets hope this is his last injury for us.
I think are defensive woes are a function of no support, rather than inadequate players. Why are we to be surprised a giant of a man like Senderos is not a Panther and can be turned inside out by a pacey winger. I don't blame him. Its the high line that is getting us
Ugh...
Senderos again. Played Defoe onside.

I've only just started watching the game so cant say how well he's played so far. However even when he's good he has moments that cost games!! As I write he's at it again for the third goal
Jesus. Thank Christ Brede is back next week. Senderos has been exposed today.
At this stage of the game, its hard to believe that the game will finish 3-3 (I had a dream)

Trying to remain objective but today we have the umpteenth starting line up which is then disrupted quite early on with an injury and a reshuffle is required. I have'nt even been able to guess my favoured starting eleven in advance so goodness knows how Jol feels. We could yet have another starting eleven against Newcastle.
Senderos just doesnt cut the mustard he was trrible against chelsea also, poor.
How many chances have we created in the last 3 games? 3 maybe 4. Just not good enough.

He wasn't terrible against Chelsea at all. This second half however, yeah he has. Schwarzer's mistake is what ballsed it all up though.
bring in some creative midfield flair come january, without Ruiz berba doesnt get the service...
7 games without a win
in general senderos is poor, he gets found out too many times, he might have a good spell here and there, but sorry hes not good enough and not consistant enough
Ship Senderos out now. I am afraid that he will have to take Sidwell and Kelly with him and probably Hugo
We've really missed Reither overlapping on the attack today as well.
6 shots & only 1 on target says it all. Spurs 10 shots 5 on target
Sidwell has done well, I thought, as has Diarra.
They just aren't very creative, and our wingers haven't done their job.

He's not totally dire--his lapses seem rare just seem to happen at worst possible time.
Sidwell is just not good enough
We are getting adrift from top 10 now. Mind you Arsenal are down to 10th.
Our recent performances should come as no surprise. We have known since beginning of season our midfield is weak spot. Doesn't matter who we have up front if we can't give them proper service.
Its just as well that we aren't chasing a goal to get something, 4 minutes extra time? Bale and Dejagah stopped the game for more than that plus 30 seconds for each substitution I was expecting 7-8 minutes. Still maybe the referee is trying to be merciful and spare us more humiliation.
Yet another p!ss poor performance, something really needs to change soon and fast.
We crumbled like the bad old days.
I honestly dont care about anyones opinion sidwell, kelly and senderos i wouldnt want them playing for my beloved leyton orient, all 3 are terrible players and should never be anywhere near a premier league side.
I honestly feel sorry for berbatov when i watch him play because we dont deserve a player of his ability, no one around him is anywhere near his level.
worst performance this season, so far.
Jol got the wrong team. Dejagah, Petric, Frei, Diara, Schwarzer....poor
Feel sorry for Berba. Sidwell fought...the fullbacks perhaps did ok, but that's it.
Theres no point in him fighting if when he gets the ball he has absolutely no touch to do anything with the ball?
I really felt confident until the Schwarzer cock up. It seemed to totally deflate us. I just hope Berba doesn´t fall out of love for us. We must really splash the cash in Jan. The creative midfield is a priority.
To be honest I actually thought I was watching a Sanchez team with all the sideways and backwards passing then long balls over the top....
I think it's unfair to blame Senderos for the second goal. Sigurdsson should be credited for a great bit of skill. Why isn't Hughes getting blamed for leaving Defoe completely unmarked? The third goal is certainly his fault though. I think it's clear he isn't consistent enough to be a regular fixture, a new centre back is a must.
If anything good could come from this game it would be that Mo will happily get his cheque book out, our weaknesses were there to see. We rely on Ruiz, without him we are blunted. We need cover for him. We also need a partner for Diarra and a good centre back.

I was going to make this point. We need to prove our ambition to him. If we don't sign some quality he may think about moving on in the summer. He expects much more from his team mates.
How bad did Riether's injury look? I keep reading that Dejagah went off but he didn't appear to.
Didnt look that bad to be honest, he was still defending brilliantly while injured. Dejagah fell on his back but he wasn't injured, finished the game.

Well he does seem to make more than his fair share. I guess some (like their third) can go down as not being used to playing with a defence that rarely changes personnel, but no, he's not nearly good enough.
Too many times have I picked up when he's done something well in defence of him. I won't any more until he goes at least two games running without doing something shyte.
Hangeland has been woeful at times as well this season, but I'll feel a lot more comfortable when he's back.
I thought Sidwell was great until the first goal; don't quite understand some of the criticism.
Sidwell is never great. He runs and tries but just is not good enough
