how to change or add an avatar...
firstly you'll need to 'see' your profile details...

click on the profile tab at the top of the screen and you should be taken to your profile

now click on 'forum profile information'

you can now either "upload" an image or "point" to an image on the internet.
to upload an image click on the Choose File button, you'll then be able to select an image from your computer and store it on FoF.
if you decide that you want to "point" to an image on the internet, you may have seen some of the avatar choices on this site and decided that one of them suits you to a tee?
load the web page with your chosen image....

if your lucky enough to have a Mac, click on the images and select "Copy image address", then paste this into the 'I have my own pic' text box.
if you don't have a Mac
1.Right Click on a Image
2.Click Properties
3.there you will see the Protocol ,Type ,Address(URL), Size ,Dimensions
Here the address URL is image URL copy it and then paste this into the 'I have my own pic' text box.
then click the Change Profile button towards the bottom of the page...
