Anyone see Clint staying at Fulham at the end of the loan? Seattle is a great city with awesome fans, but I wonder if he likes the International flair of London and the level of competition in the Prem better.
:Happy New Year:
And stay warm!
Seattle home of Frazier and Coffee shops. Always fancied visiting
Fulham would have to negotiate with MLS and they'd want a ton of bucks, so not likely.

Any idea what Fulham is paying now for him? Wages plus something to Seattle???

I'm sure they are covering the wages but I have no doubt Dempsey's contract has a clause allowing such a loan. He wants to be ready for the WC and would have an agent for a foo; that didn't include such a clause. Do you think the Galaxy would have allowed the very old legs of Beckman to go on loan if they would have had a say?
Good point. Wonder if there is a buy out clause as well?

Possibly, I suppose but again, likely too many bucks.
I think he partially made the move for his family, it helps that Seattle are paying him well, but try telling your children or wife they have to wait to go visit mom/dad/grandparents. Factor in Boxing day matches etc, I dont think he would go back abroad having just left. Clint has always struck me as a family man, though this is just speculation on my part.
Stranger things have happened...
