Is it possible to create a thumbs up/down functionality for ppl to use when in agreement or otherwise with fellow posters?
I feel the same posters would get the thumbs up/down regardless of content.
Unfortunately not, we've discussed this in great length before, bit like the old Facebook 'Like' syndrome, it will prevent people from actively posting, when they can just give the thumbs up or down.
I personally think that thumbs-up and thumbs down functionality will take away from debate, airing of opinions, etc.
Besides, we do have:

and 0001.jpeg
Was going to suggest this as well. People just look at the negatives but if you look at the Sunderland fan forum http://www.readytogo.net/smb/ (http://www.readytogo.net/smb/) I think it works incredibly well.

Or just a facility to record 'likes'. It's got to be better than a stream of 'thumbs up' or 'like' posts down the page.
