Title: Out Managed
Post by: 2013 on August 21, 2014, 07:36:17 AM

Last night was dire, not least because Wolves were the better side, played to a plan plus the team selection - again - bordered on incomprehensible. So that makes three managers, Mick Mcarthy, Ian Holloway, and the Wolves manager who have simply out managed / out thought Felix at playing football in the championship. Derby and Cardiff next....? Not amusing, enjoyable or clever.

Just as worrying for me was the letter that FM was supposed to have written to us yesterday (I say supposed because whilst he may have given the brief of the content it was clearly not written by him as some of the language/phrasing was not within the scope of his adequate command of the language). It came across as "I don't expect to win tonight but it can only get better later" - in fairness a 100% losing record is bound to get better eventually. If the manager cannot inspire confidence in the fans why on earth would we expect him to inspire it in the players they must wonder what on earth is going on.

that was quite clear when he subbed Dembele on for Fotheringham, with McCormack having to go over to ask 'how do we play now'
