Title: Yet more cricket
Post by: tjl on June 26, 2010, 06:51:07 AM
As there's not a lot of movement on this board i will spread the good news England are 2-0 up  :clap_hands: in the 5 game series of one day matches against the  Australians enough said as i don't want to upset my co workers from down under plying there trade on our small island also there are still 3 games to go.
Sark still can't win a game this year but tomorrow we have a great Sunday to look forward to with a Lord's Taverners team over for the annual match and lunch, plus a few tv and pop stars on show, it's a great fund raiser for the island and guernsey.
Last but not least i still need names for the two sheep because the racing is coming up soon.

Mr tjl,

Sheep name suggestions:
1) Tom Jones (because the fact he is Welsh, hence automatically fond of sheep by birth. He also used to very much look like one and must have used the same hair dresser as the fanciest sheep in Pontypridd)

2) Lady Bah Bah (after the somewhat strange, eccentric, and popular Lady Ga Ga the pop singer)

Well you could always combine mine:
Tom Jones, by Lady Bah Bah, out of Pontypridd. I am sure a few punters would throw a quid or two at that one.

Still winning thats England, Sark had a small victory this past Saturday it's about time and we have sheep racing coming up 24/25th this month looking forward to that, some one has put France back i suspect that s/fox had something to do with it but have no evidence it's him or maybe mrs tjl  has cut the hedge, glad that world cup is over found it hard to work up a sweat about any of it, that may just be me.

Hi daddy, against the taverners we won the cricket i think?a lot going on at the end lots of cash raised, sheep racing having no decent names from this board had to get mrs tjl had to help out we (she) named one Decorators makeover by brush strokes out of 1st call for a mate who is the firms painting contractor, the second she named after my self, Workshop wonder by arthur write us, out of ewu limping again. and my knee is no better it's a bas***d getting old mrs tjl has a sense of humour if i could catch her i might beat her into submission with my walking stick but then i have to sleep sometime so maybe not. So far a good summer with lots to come.
