Title: Pathetic time wasting tactics
Post by: win-dup on October 04, 2015, 02:00:25 PM
Kit's got to go. We were a total embarrassment in the last ten minutes with the ludicrous time wasting attempts. Well done to Charlton for sticking at it.

We added 4 minutes to the game with that rubbish

I didn't like the time wasting at all.
Fulham needed to keep the pressure on and instead invited Charlton in.
Sad.

I wasted my time getting out of bed at 3:50.

Kit owes me two hours of sleep!!

Absolutely. Symons has to take responsibility for the manner in which we approached the game. Charlton should never have got back into it. Under Tigana, for instance, we would have gone for a third - and fourth - goal with purpose and urgency.

Two points needlessly thrown away by a manager whose outlook is too cautious.

Agreed, it's so negative and simply communicates that we lack confidence to play the ball forward. Which only encourages the opposition.  Pathetic.

Time wasting is stupid and it came back to bite us today.

The time wasting added 1 minute. It was the head injuries that added a further 2 minutes to the original 4.. Agreed it did bite us back.

Fergie used to say the best way to waste time is by spending a couple of minutes celebrating another goal.
