Today one of my childhood favorite actors has passed away at age 85. He was one of the truely great comedic actors of our my time. I loved him in everything he did but truely loved him both in McHale's Navy and The Carol Burnett Show.
Tim Conway said that Harvey Korman had no idea that he was going to stick himself with the needle making his arm going numb. The whole thing made Harvey pee is pants from laughing so hard :005:
RIP my hero Tim Conway
Just watched the video clip and it doesn't seem very funny to me. Typical American comedy from the 40s for me. I guess we all have to go sometime but RIP.
Sorry, never heard of him.
He was sort of an American Bennie Hill. Over the top and just plain silly but he struck a cord with a lot of people.
BTW, did anyone notice that we lost Lena Horne as well? Great jazz/blues singer.
Lena went in 2010
