Onomah hasn't done much to earn a starting spot IMO, but hey, this is it Josh, show us that you're the real deal, paradoxically from what I said, you're a Fulham man so I still believe in you!

He is a Fulham player but I will only believe in him when he shows us something, sadly until now I have not seen anything to suggest why we ever signed him, he must improve though! I would loved to be able to change my mind about him and tonight he has a golden opportunity!

I believe it is a fair guess that Cairney and Johansen will sit deep just like last game (and second half against QPR). And that Onomah will replace Reid.

Parker needs to change something. Their press is causing us huge problems in midfield. Mitro is struggling to hold the ball up, and we're not doing anything going forward.

They look very dangerous going forward

I think a lot of people who complain about TC playing deep focus too much on his lack of presence in attack and not enough on the increased speed the balls leaves our defence.

No 300 side to side passes between Ream and Mawson, TC picks it up and guides it on. Our very own Pirlo.

Ofcourse he is missed up top, but its a sacrifice for better distribution

We should buy a really good DM in January. It would significantly improve the team along with Hector coming in.

I thought Swansea have played pretty well first half. Rodak made some excellent saves, and Mitro did what Mitro does

Haha..yeah.  Not sure why he gets the nod.  Best available in SP's mind?

Very nice to have 2 goal advantage, thx to Mitro.  But FFC could actually find themselves trailing at the half if not for some great goal keeping from Rodak and the woodwork.  Very fortunate.  Keeper Rodak keeping FFC in this game.

Watching that half reminded me of far to many matches against the top six. We'd play well and make the better side look poor but individual brilliance would beat us. Nice to have the shoe on the other foot.
Wonder if the Newcastle fans are kicking themselves?

In the build up sky mentioned our similiar styles.

Looks like Swansea are very similiar to a Fulham we know well, loads of chances and no goals, beaten from the opponents first chance and them gifting them another trying to play out from the back.

Been some games since we could call us similiar to them in yhat regard however   :wine:

Most of the team hasn't got going but still 2-0 up. Hopefully this was the bad half.

Onomah seems to have a knack for intercepting the ball at least. Created a goal and possibly saved another. Still needs to improve his passing game though.

If this was Onomah's big chance, I don't think he's taking it yet. Growing into the match though. I'd like to think he will get better as his confidence grows. Two big moments for him - a good defensive chase back and intervention and a brilliant pass to Mitro (I jest). He still looks better to me when he has the ball in front of him so his current position doesn't suit him, but he has given the ball away quite a lot and looks unsure. Without Rodak we would be losing this match.

Funny thing is TC is defending and putting himself about more than ever but we lack a defensive leader in MF.

Josh ONomah may be the most out of shape footballer I've seen in a long time.  He was tired 15 minutes into the game and he's moved like he's dying ever since.

Is this experiment over yet?

IF we hold on it will be a good win, but not a great performance, especially defensively - too many last ditch clearances and not enough control of the midfield.

No yellow for dissent for the player yelling flipping hell to the officials so loud that the commentators had to apologise for it?

What is going on

Agreed.    Glad we don't need him at CB so he can focus on being the best RB he can be.   He's the best we've got at that position this season.
