Harrison Reed or Bryan

Ream.  Cleared a lot of other people's errors.   Sessegnon was very poor.

Harrison Reed.  There’s a lot to like about him, but his ability to spot a potential problem and cover it off was admirable today.

yes totally agree with you, thought he played very well. Better than I've seen arter play too. Would like to see him play more there, but something tells me he wont

Harrison Reed for me. He's looked good in a few games as a sub. But today was the first start I've seen live. Looks  great.

Reminds me of Murphy. Good in the tackle, reads  the game and intervenes when required. Very purposeful passing, looking to find the through ball.

He needs to start every game on that performance imo.

Our best 3 players were Bryan,  Ream and Reed. All defensive. Our issues currently aren't at the back. They're at the other end and Parkers over deliberate style of play is a big factor

Well today it wasn't Cairney or Mitro. Yes I think I would give it to Reed.
So what happens to him next week when Arter returns, he is back on the bench I guess.

Started alongside Arter against Cardiff. Think that could happen again.

Hmm. I know his pass success is high but he takes an age on the ball which then often goes sideways or back. Also played them on on a couple of occasions, most noticeably for Austin's chance in the first half. Preferred mawson today.

That over deliberate style is a problem at the back, especially for ream and mawson. Need to move the ball quicker.

reed them ream for me  Teams now know they only have to wait and we will make mistakes. Our style at the back is frightening at times .

I was debating with myself H Reed or T Ream, and went for ream he didnt put a foot wrong and made a couple of very important interceptions. For me Harrison reed cameclose though he was alert and creative.

The player who has disappointed me so far apart from his two cracking goals is Cavaleiro, he seems to lack concentration at times during matches switches off at important times I've noticed.

yep same as that. He is starting to look a lot like schurrle to me, few wonder goals and very little else. I'd like to see us abandon the inverted wingers to see if we look better with knockaert and cav on what you would traditionally call there strongest sides

Knockart played on the same side at Brighton, as did Cav at wolves. I think they are both doing ok, we need to get the ball to them quicker though that exploits their pace better.

Reed was my MOM followed by Ream and Bryan

Reed got my vote on work rate and quality without ever being too flamboyant.  Did everything necessary to hold onto his place in the side.

Does anyone understand why Cavaleiro was standing right on the touchline close to Knochhaert when he was taking right side corners yet never received the expected short ball, he was just playing himself right out of the game.

Probably told to stand there by Scott Parker.

We played very well I thought, for 70 minutes we were all over them and imo they have the second best team in the champ on paper (Behind us). We were unlucky not to get more from the game and going forward we need to take our chances but if we play like that every week we will be up there

I thought Reed was excellent against WBA, but i'm surprised Cairney gets so few votes... he was my runner up. Out of the midfield players he was the one always willing to come and get the ball, nearly scored, put in some great crosses, almost never gives the ball away and is the focal point of most of our attacking play.

I thought that Cav was not involved enough today and Knock went missing after the goal. Reid showed flashes, but like Cav, not involved enough. Defence were mostly sound apart from defending set pieces - WBA could have scored 3 from corners and free kicks, we must work on that aspect of the game (as well as finding someone who can actually get a corner kick past the man at the near post!!)

I'm with you on this one. Voted for Cairney as I thought he was absolutely brilliant for an hour or so (except the missed one on one), although agree that it was a close one with Reed.
