Title: One of the Most Depressing Saturdays... Ever !
Post by: Steeeeeeeeeed on October 19, 2019, 09:32:53 PM
Half woke up to see Ireland getting hammered in the Rugby. (I am Irish descent...and I had a good bet on them to win the tournament too...)

Watched the Brexit thing go further down its own wormhole.

Fulham lost to one of the bottom clubs, and quite badly

And then Celebrity X Factor cam.on the telly

Blimey. I will get over it, I have too...

Sorry to hear of your suffering Steeeed, fortunately the day started well for us England fans.  You were a brave man to bet against NZ.

It was never all bad. Even I can see that. Boris kicked in to touch again. That must make you smile wherever you sit. Fulham lose when you would put money on a win. That is Fulhamish

Seems like a pretty average day to me. I also had a sad  anniversary that fell on today. So frankly we should all learn by now that Fulham are not there to cheer you up on bad days. There are there to niggle and annoy and frustrate. But like any placebo, every so often we think Fulham works well as a mood enhancer. But statistically, modern science has proved Fulham simply doesn't work when taken over a long period.
