3 things we clearly learned about Fulham after their 2-1 win over Swansea

Fulham beat Swansea City 2-1 in the Championship on Friday night, as Scott Parker's side closed the gap on the top two.

It was a fourth-straight win in the Championship for Fulham and a fourth-straight game without a win for Steve Cooper and Swansea.

Two first-half goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Fulham the win and it keeps them in 3rd – four points behind 2nd-placed West Brom who could go top with a win against Preston tonight.

Swansea meanwhile have now fallen out of the top-six with their fifth home defeat of the season – Brentford leapfrogged the Swans into 7th with their 7-0 win at home to Luton over the weekend.

There was plenty for Fulham fans to cheer about in South Wales on Friday night and a lot for Parker to be pleased about to.

Here we take a look at three things we've learned about Fulham after the win:

Prolific Mitrovic

(https://cdn.footballleagueworld.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/2019-11-29T203256Z_1076952745_RC28LD9XYDO0_RTRMADP_3_SOCCER-ENGLAND-SWA-FUL-REPORT-1536x871.jpg)

With just four touches inside the penalty box and three shots, Aleksandar Mitrovic managed two goals against Swansea. Never has the Championship seen such a 'fox in the box' and Mitrovic now has 24 goals in 24 appearances for club and country this season.

It was a dominant Fulham performance on Friday night and two simple goals for the Serbian – heading home a rebounded shot for the first and finishing from point-blank range for the second.

He's continuing to show why he's goal-scoring 'royalty' at this level and now has 15 Championship goals for the season – two more than Hull City's Jarrod Bowen behind him.

The unbeatable Rodak

(https://cdn.footballleagueworld.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/2019-10-26T150146Z_2083322147_RC1ABE0FA240_RTRMADP_3_SOCCER-ENGLAND-MID-FUL-REPORT-2-1536x993.jpg)

With each passing game, Marek Rodak looks to be becoming a better goalkeeper. The 22-year-old had arguably his best performance in a Fulham shirt at Swansea, making some big saves throughout the game.

He came up with a huge save a 0-0 to keep Sam Surridge out and got down low again in the first-half to stop George Byers from equalising.

The Slovakian has quickly warmed the hearts of Fulham fans since being thrown into the first-team last month, and looks set to be the Fulham number one for the foreseeable future.

4-2-3-1 more effective?

(https://cdn.footballleagueworld.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/2019-11-29T212130Z_1857693840_RC29LD9D40AT_RTRMADP_3_SOCCER-ENGLAND-SWA-FUL-REPORT-1536x958.jpg)

For the last two outings, Parker had adopted a 4-2-3-1 formation rather than a 4-3-3. He's taken a lot of criticism for not adapting his tactics but has proved in the last two that his team can play in different ways.

Fulham have looked better in a 4-2-3-1 as well – the wingers drop back a little deeper giving them some added defence, whilst Tom Cairney and Stefan Johansen operate much more effectively when playing a little deeper.

Expect Parker to continue with this system for the next outing against Bristol City at the weekend, in what will be a tough tie against top-six competition, with Bristol coming off the back of a five-goal haul against Huddersfield.

Fixtures Moving For TV

Last Friday night's game in Swansea was the sixth Fulham match so far this season to be re-arranged for live TV with four moving to a Friday night and two to a Saturday lunchtime. We can certainly expect further matches to be re-scheduled in the remainder of the season.

Whilst this provides welcome extra revenue for the Club and allows a wider audience to see Fulham in action, it does make life difficult for supporters making plans to travel to matches and is particularly challenging for those wishing to buy cheaper rail tickets. This is made harder by the fact that when Sky and the EFL announce matches moved for TV they often phase the announcements making it unclear whether a fixture can now be deemed safe from change.

In order to try to provide the maximum amount of information possible to help Fulham fans plan, we are launching a colour coded fixture list with our assessment of the risk of fixtures being moved for live TV. This is based on a review of the Sky and EFL guidelines together with close monitoring of available fixture slots and on-sale dates. Note that this isn't an assessment of the likely popularity of a match.

We have classified fixtures as red, amber and green as follows

    red – changed for TV
amber – still at risk of change
green – should now not move

Further details and the colour coded fixture list can be found here.

You will see that the fixture list also includes indications of dates which may be affected by FA Cup matches either involving Fulham or our scheduled League opponents.

At time of writing (Monday 2nd December) our only upcoming fixture scheduled for TV is Preston away, which has not been moved. However the next announcement of Sky fixtures for the period 18th January to 1st February is due this week by 6th December. The FA Cup draw also takes place today.

We will update the colour coded fixture list frequently and announce changes via this web site and Twitter. We would encourage any supporters who have further insights into upcoming fixture movements to let us know so that we can keep everyone informed.

Take A Minute
(https://ffcw001.azureedge.net/-/media/misc/shutterstock_editorial_9469096qn.jpg?w=622&h=278)

The Football Association has today announced that all Emirates FA Cup Third Round fixtures will be delayed by one minute to encourage fans to 'Take A Minute' to think about looking after their mental health, as part of the Heads Up campaign.

The move will see all 32 ties [excluding replays] kick-off one minute later than their traditionally scheduled broadcast and non-broadcast timeslots, for example 3.01pm, 12.16pm and 7.46pm.

It is hoped that the initiative will raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health, with 60 seconds representing just the first step in the journey to improved wellbeing. During the minute delay, fans will be encouraged to consider the positive impact 60 seconds can have on their own wellbeing or in supporting a friend or family member.

Heads Up is partnering with Public Health England's Every Mind Matters across the Emirates FA Cup Third Round to draw attention to the simple steps we can all take to look after our mental health and wellbeing. The partnership will signpost to the free, online Every Mind Matters resources and 'Your Mind Plan' tool, which fans can use to create a personal mental health action plan, providing them with a tailored set of simple self-care actions. In conjunction with Heads Up charity partners Mind, CALM, Heads Together and Sporting Chance, fans will also be provided helpful tips and advice on how they can approach managing their mental health.

Messaging will be visible across the weekend of fixtures, both in the stadia and for the millions watching from home.

Spearheaded by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, the Heads Up campaign harnesses the influence and popularity of football to encourage more people – particularly men – to feel comfortable talking about, and taking action to improve, their mental health and to recognise that mental fitness is just as important as physical fitness.

Mark Bullingham, The FA's Chief Executive said: "Whilst delaying kick-off times by 60 seconds is a simple idea, it provides a powerful platform for us and our Heads Up charity partners to deliver a really important message on mental health. We know that men in particular can be reluctant to talk about the subject, so it is important that we use football as a vehicle to stress the importance of mental fitness."

Godric Smith, Chair of the Heads Up campaign said: "It is fitting that the first big Heads Up campaign moment should be linked to the Emirates FA Cup Third Round - a signature moment in any football season. The Emirates FA Cup is a competition for everyone - for clubs big and small - and we want to use its power to help show that we all have mental health and that we can all take a minute to focus on how we can start to improve it. We are very grateful for all the support from right across the football family, from our mental health charities - and to Public Health England's Every Mind Matters for their fantastic partnership."

The draw for The Emirates FA Cup Third Round takes place on BBC Two this evening at 7pm and will be facilitated by Tony Adams, former England international and three-time FA Cup winner and founder of Heads Up charity partner, Sporting Chance. Third Round ties will take place on weekend of 3-6 January.

For more information on the Heads Up campaign visit – TheFA.com/HeadsUp and headstogether.org.uk/heads-up. Fans can also search 'Every Mind Matters' to create their own personal mental health action plan.

Those in need of immediate support can text 'HeadsUp' to 85258 to be connected to a trained crisis counsellor. This service is available 24/7, and free to text from most mobile networks.

Talking Points: Swansea City
(https://ffcw001.azureedge.net/-/media/19_20_player_action_shots/shutterstock_editorial_10486994v.jpg?w=622&h=278)

Mitro reaching the 15 goal mark and the Gaffer partaking in a spot of karaoke are two of this week's Talking Points.

1. Mitro hits 15

Before even reaching December, Aleksandar Mitrović has hit the 15 goal milestone – putting him three ahead of his nearest challenger in the scoring charts. The 25-year-old has netted every 108 minutes, which is form that would see him end up on 38 goals at the end of the regular season if it continues!

2. Friday night delight

Fulham's successful Friday night form continued at Swansea, making it four wins from our five outings on that particular day of the week. And the occasion we didn't win, we took a creditable point away at Cardiff City despite playing with 10 men for quarter of the match.

3. Rodák on fire

Marek Rodák put on a goalkeeping masterclass at the Liberty Stadium, and was unfortunate not to have a clean sheet to show for his efforts. He was the standout performer in the first half with his five saves, the first of which was nothing short of world class as he repelled Sam Surridge within the six yard box. He later pushed the below George Byers shot around the post, with a very different but equally impressive stop.

4. Onomah's interception

He may not have got the connection on Ivan Cavaleiro's pass he was hoping for – although he did end up getting an assist out of it – but Josh Onomah deserves enormous credit for the interception that led to our second goal. The midfielder anticipated Kristoffer Peterson's backwards pass, and did brilliantly to lunge in and nick it away.

5. Scotty rolling with it

As Scott Parker walked across the pitch at full-time, he couldn't help but sing along to Oasis' Roll With It which was being played out across the PA system. Have another watch, and you'll clock him joining in with the lyrics, "You wanna be who you'd be, if you're coming with me. I think I've got a feeling I've lost inside, I think I'm gonna take me away and hide."

'Love this squad so much', 'Phenomenal' – These Fulham fans react to comical squad photo

For professional footballers, the hard work never stops around Christmas as it becomes one of the busiest periods of their seasons, with most clubs even getting their players in to train on Christmas Day.

However, one occasional theme that professional footballers like to do is go away for a day or two during the month with their team-mates for a Christmas party, dressed up in fancy dress as they get a small break from the rigours of professional footballers.

Tom Cairney and his Fulham team-mates have already had their getaway abroad after beating Swansea City 2-1 on Friday night, the players perhaps deserving a weekend off after getting four wins in a row and moving on up to third in the league table.

28-year-old Cairney, who has been at Craven Cottage since 2015, has now posted a photo to his Twitter account with nine of his Fulham team-mates all dressed in fancy dress as the ten of them have taken a trip across to Stockholm in Sweden to begin their Christmas celebrations.

Some of the outfits on show by the Fulham players are Captain America, Batman, a skier and a character from the 'Peaky Blinders'.

Fulham supporters have quite rightly been loving the outfits that the players have been dressing up as, and here are some of the best reactions from the Cottagers supporters on Twitter...

Exclusive: Fulham contact Leicester about signing £10m ace in January

Fulham have made an enquiry about signing Leicester City defender James Justin on loan in January, Football Insider can reveal.

The Championship promotion hopefuls are looking to strengthen their defensive options in the upcoming transfer window and have targeted a move for the right-back.

A Fuham source has told Football Insider that contact has been made with the Premier League high flyers about taking Justin for the second half of the season.

Leicester have high hopes for Justin, who has been forced to play second fiddle to first choice right-back Ricardo Pereira since his arrival in the summer.

Brendan Rodgers could have a decision to make on whether to keep hold of the 21-year-old, or loan him out to get regular playing experience.

Justin has made just two appearances for Leicester this season – both in the EFL Cup – after joining from Luton Town for an initial £7million rising to a potential £10m with add-ons.

He is still waiting for his Premier League debut as Portugal international Pereira has been an ever-present in the competition this season, starting all 14 games for the high-flying Foxes.

Justin was an unused substitute for the 14th time this season as Leicester continued their excellent start to the campaign by beating Everton 2-1 yesterday.

The young Englishman, who can play at left-back or right-back, was named in the League One Team of the Year following his impressive displays at Luton last season which ended with promotion.

Fulham are well placed to challenge for promotion after Saturday's 2-1 win at Swansea City lifted them to third in the table.

Fulham make initial approach for Leicester City defender

According to a report from Football Insider, Fulham have made an enquiry regarding the possibility of signing Leicester City defender James Justin on loan in the January transfer window.

Full-back James Justin joined Leicester City from Championship side Luton Town in the summer transfer window, joining in a £10 million deal from the Hatters. Since making the move, Justin has found first-team opportunities somewhat hard to come by at the King Power Stadium.

He has been forced to play second fiddle to Portuguese star Ricardo Pereira, who has been in electric form under Brendan Rodgers so far this season. The 21-year-old has made no Premier League appearances so far, with his only games coming in the EFL Cup against Luton Town and Burton Albion, netting once.

Now, it has been claimed that Fulham could look to offer him some more first-team football, with the Cottagers reportedly making an enquiry over a possible loan move for Justin ahead of the January transfer window.

Heading into the second half of the season, Fulham boss Scott Parker is keen to bolster his full-back options and Justin is one of the players on his radar. At his disposal at the moment, Scott Parker currently has the likes of Denis Odoi, Cyrus Christie and youngster Steven Sessegnon at right-back, with Joe Bryan the only left-back option.

Justin played as both a left-back and right-back for Luton Town in his 114 appearances for the club, featuring mainly on the left-hand side as the Hatters won promotion to the Championship earlier this year.

It will be interesting to see if Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City allow Justin to leave on loan to pick up some more minutes, or if they keep him as a back-up option to Ricardo Pereira.

These Are Only Team Leeds and West Brom Should Worry About – Former White

Noel Whelan thinks that Fulham are the only side that can keep up with Leeds United and West Brom at the top of the Championship table.

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds went top of the Championship table after a 4-0 win over Middlesbrough at Elland Road on Saturday, establishing a five-point lead over third place.

West Brom could go back to the top of the table if they can beat Preston North End this evening and Whelan does feel the Baggies and the Whites have a chance to pull away from the competition in the battle for an automatic promotion place.

However, he is slightly concerned about Scott Parker's Fulham side, who boast Aleksandar Mitrovic in attack and sit third after a 2-1 win at Swansea City; Mitrovic scored both goals.

"I do feel that West Brom and Leeds have the opportunity to really pull away from the rest of them", Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds after the Whites beat Middlesbrough.

"I think the only one that I'd worry about is probably Fulham – that's because they've got Mitrovic; goalscoring form, quality striker.

"Fulham are the only team I think that could keep up with the two of us."

Fulham are due to play host to Leeds on 21st December and won the last fixture between the two sides at Craven Cottage last year.

The Cottagers met West Brom in September at Craven Cottage and played out a 1-1 draw with Slaven Bilic's men.

Fulham fans can start to get seriously excited as they close gap on top two with win at Swansea

Fulham won their fourth-straight game in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Swansea City on Friday night, closing the gap between the automatic promotion places to four points.

A brace from Aleksandar Mitrovic saw Scott Parker's Fulham side earn their fourth-straight win in the league and keeps them in 3rd – three points ahead of Nottingham Forest in 4th and four points behind West Brom in 2nd.

The Baggies though have a game in hand, and could go top with a win at Preston tonight.

This time last month, Parker was under huge pressure at Fulham. His side were held at Middlesbrough and the following weekend were thumped 3-0 at home by Hull City, leaving them stranded outside the top-six.

It seemed as though the demands of the Championship were overwhelming Parker in his first full-season as a football manager, and a section of fans felt it was time for him to move on.

Now though, Parker is being hailed as one of the league's best young managers and at Fulham, the fans adore him.

He looks set to guide his team to a promotion push this season and with each passing win, that looks all the more likely.

Fulham fans will be hugely proud of the turnaround that they've seen. Results are the aim of the game but Fulham are also playing some really solid football – against Swansea, Fulham had more of the ball and for long periods of the game, were passing it round as though it was an exhibition.

They're a fascinating team to watch and Parker's influence on them is really evident – fans will surely like what they're seeing, and will love to see the likes of Marek Rodak breaking into the team, as well players like Dennis Odoi and Stefan Johansen becoming really integral to the line-up.

There's a lot for the Fulham faithful to look forward to this season but it's still only December, and Fulham have 27 games between them and the end of the season.

They've been in good voice so far and have remained optimistic despite relegation last season – expect them to get right behind Parker and help push the team towards the automatic promotion places.

Opinion: Mitrovic would be a superb signing for Aston Villa

Aston Villa have been linked with a move for the Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

A week ago, former Aston Villa striker Bent suggested that the Premier League side could be interested in the Serbian.

Mitrovic has been in fine form for Fulham in the Championship and he would be a superb addition to Villa's attack. The likes of Wesley haven't performed at their best so far and Smith could use another goalscoring option.

The Londoners are unlikely to sanction a sale halfway through the season, but Aston Villa should do their best to convince Fulham.

Mitrovic might be tempted to make the step up to the Premier League as well.

If Villa manage to sign him, it could be a game-changer for them. Mitrovic has 15 goals in 18 Championship games this season and he would improve Aston Villa significantly.

With him in the side, the likes of El Ghazi and Grealish are likely to improve as well. Mitrovic is excellent at holding up the play and bringing his teammates into the game.

He showed his quality in the Premier League last year and he is ready to make a difference for Villa if the move goes through. He could take them to a top half finish this season.

Villa must do everything in their power to land him in January.

Day of Disability
(https://ffcw001.azureedge.net/-/media/misc/ffc_dsa622.jpg?w=622&h=278)

As part of the EFL's Day of Disabilities on Tuesday 3rd December, we sat down with Fulham Disabled Supporters Association Chairperson Mark Davies – a visually impaired supporter in the Johnny Haynes Stand – to discuss how they came about, what they have achieved over the last year, and their future plans.

When did you start supporting Fulham?

I was living in Clapham when I lost my sight. Before then I'd gone to a few games over the years at Fulham and other grounds in London. I went to a handful of matches with friends after losing my sight, but it was always difficult and not particularly enjoyable. I used to listen to football on the radio and even though part of me missed going to live games, I didn't go to a match for many years.

Then a friend said he was going along to a game at Craven Cottage and asked me if I'd like to go. Once we were inside the ground, he asked a steward if there was a commentary service I could listen to. I wasn't expecting anything really, but two minutes later the steward came back with a headset which meant I could listen to the commentary from my seat. Gentleman Jim's commentary brought the game to life and it was great to be able to enjoy going to a match again.

The DSA has been going for just over a year now, how pleased are you
with what you have achieved so far and what are your hopes for the next
year?

The first forum for Fulham supporters with disabilities was held in December last year, and since then we have progressed into the formation of the association. Through our monthly meetings with the club, we have raised a number of issues - some small and some large - and we have established a strong partnership with the Club to improve the experience for all supporters with disabilities.
We've worked closely with the Club on the relocation of supporters with disabilities from the Riverside Stand, and continue to press for the inclusion and improvement of accessible facilities both in the new Riverside and elsewhere in the ground. That said, we know that there is still much to do, including the implementation of the sensory room.

We are also keen to hear from more Fulham supporters with disabilities, to find out what is working and what could be improved. To find out more or to let us know your experiences, contact us at
[email protected] or follow us on twitter at @FulhamDSA.

Talk about the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme, how does this work and how
did it come about?

The Sunflower Lanyard scheme is a discrete way for people with hidden disabilities to indicate that they may need a little more time or assistance when out and about. The scheme has been supported by various supermarkets, hospitals and airports, and it was a suggestion from a member of the Fulham Disabled Supporters Association that Fulham could implement this scheme as a
way to help supporters who have hidden disabilities.

The idea behind the scheme is that someone at the ticket office or turnstile, or refreshment stall, or stewards in the ground, would see the lanyard and realise that this person might need a little more assistance. Fulham will shortly be training all customer facing staff to recognise the Sunflower Lanyard, and to understand the idea that all they need to do to help is "just ask". Wearing the lanyard is not a requirement for a supporter with a hidden disability. It's meant as a simple way for them to choose to make staff aware and to make it a little bit easier for everyone. Further information on this can be found at: https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2019/august/23/sunflower-lanyards

You've started to forge links with DSAs at other EFL clubs through Level
Playing Field, how important is this?

There are Disabled Supporters Associations at many clubs across the country, from the Premier League and EFL through to non-league clubs. Many of the issues facing supporters with disabilities are common to all clubs and sharing the experiences and solutions of the DSAs at these clubs is a way to improve the experience for all disabled supporters.

Many DSAs have been running for several years and so they are able to provide help to newly formed DSAs. Level Playing Field is a charity aiming to improve the matchday experience for all supporters with disabilities, and they have held regional and national forums to promote the sharing of best practices for DSAs, clubs and stadiums. Another benefit of contact between DSAs is to improve the experience at away matches.

As Mark says, anyone interested in finding more about the Fulham DSA should contact [email protected] or on twitter @FulhamDSA

Aston Villa have been installed as the favourites to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic in the January transfer window.

Mitrovic has been in devastating form for club and country this season, scoring 15 goals in 18 appearances for Fulham and eight in five matches for Serbia.

Last month, Villa were urged to look at signing the 25-year-old in January by former striker Darren Bent, who told talkSPORT: "Come January, Mitrovic might be gone. I can see a few Premier League teams (taking an interest), like Aston Villa whose centre forwards aren't scoring many goals.

"These teams should look at him because he's too good for the Championship. He's a big, strong powerful target man who scores goals when given the service."

£22m club-record signing Wesley has four goals to his name so far but backup options Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis have both experienced injury troubles.

Kodjia has only played 20 minutes of Premier League football all season after ankle and cheek injuries while Davis is sidelined with a hamstring problem.

Villa are unlikely to spend big in January after significant investment in the summer but they are the favourites to secure Mitrovic's signature with the bookies.

Premier League club emerge as favourites to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic

Aston Villa are reportedly leading the chase to sign sought-after Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Midlands outfit are favourites with the bookies to land the in-form Serbian striker, according to Birmingham Live, with many clubs expected to fight for his signature during the January transfer window.

The news comes a few weeks after former Villa striker Darren Bent urged his old club to sign Mitrovic up in January.

He told Football Insider: "I think he's too good in the Championship and I think Villa need a centre-forward who can potentially score goals, obviously Wesley has done okay but he hasn't really set the world alight as of yet.

"These teams should look at him because he's too good for the Championship. He's a big, strong powerful target man who scores goals when given the service."

Mitrovic has been in sparkling form for Scott Parker's side this season, scoring 15 goals in 18 appearances for the Cottagers.

He also has a healthy return for Serbia having scored eight goals in his last five turnouts for his country.

Mitrovic, who initially arrived in England by signing for Newcastle United, has recently signed a new deal to keep him at Craven Cottage until 2024 but he could be lured away from the capital should an offer come in for him in January with a host of top flight teams linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

Is this 6'2" Fulham man finally beginning to live up to expectations at Craven Cottage? Comment

Fulham continued their surge up the Championship table with a 2-1 win at Swansea City on Friday night.

A first-half brace from Aleksandar Mitrovic secured the 2-1 win for Fulham, with Swans' George Byers scoring a consolation midway through the second-half.

It was Fulham's fourth-straight win in the Championship and sees Scott Parker's side go three points ahead of 4th-placed Nottingham Forest, closing the gap to West Brom in 2nd to four – although a win for the Baggies at Preston tonight tough would see them return to the top.

Another solid team performance from the Cottagers, and one man stood out alongside Mitrovic.

Alfie Mawson has been in fantastic form for Fulham this season. The 25-year-old was once hailed as the 'next best' of all the young English centre-halves and when he got his multi-million pound move to Fulham in the summer of last year, he looked set to have his breakthrough season in the top-flight.

He, amongst a host of others, failed to live up to expectations, and was part of the Fulham side that succumbed to a miserable relegation back into the Championship – Mawson played 15 Premier League games under three different managers for Fulham last season.

The aim for Fulham going into this season was to return to the top-flight but realistically, not everyone at the club thought it'd be that easy. On paper, Fulham have one, if not the best squad in the division. But a lot of them, Mawson included, were under-performing massively in the last season.

This campaign could've gone either way for Mawson – Parker could've brought someone new in to partner Tim Ream at the back, or could've gone for someone like Maxime Le Marchland. But he stuck with the former Swansea man and he's repaid the faith, having his best spell so far in a Fulham shirt.

He looks to have matured alongside Ream at the back. The pair look to have a real understanding in the works and with Ream his elder and an experienced head in the Championship, Mawson has someone to guide him.

It would've been difficult for the 25-year-old in the summer as well. Having struggled in the top-flight, he would've been low on confidence going into this campaign and wondering if he'll ever get the chance to play there again.

Given how this terms gone so far though, Mawson and Fulham could well make a timely return to the Premier League under Parker and from there, who knows how far Mawson can go in his footballing career.
