If you could draw a circle around Craven Cottage, at which point would you get a 50% split of supporters living inside and outside of that circle. I would imagine it's something like 15 miles.
There can't be that many left within 2 miles as the price of housing excludes the average person, even out in what I used to call the sticks New Malden and Chessington the house prices exclude many.
I and many others live in Sussex and I certainly know of others in the Home Counties, The Midlands and even Scotland who travel down for a few home games each season.
I would be interested in participating in this if somebody could draw it up. I suspect i am not the norm i live in Chiswick
86 Miles from Ipswich one way.
208 miles round trip.
Getting more difficult as age takes its control but absolutely adore my trips to The Cottage.
298 mile round trip
Newmarket to Cambridge 13 mile then Cambridge to London 62...150 mile there and back.
220 mile round trip from Stamford....... (+2)...Baston White...
28 miles round trip Uxbridge to CC and back.
Bang on the suggested average at 15miles away.
190 mile round trip from the New Forest.
226 mile round trip from Bristol
Same as Mince only from Burwell
120 mile round trip for me.
Someone (MJG?) produced a map of supporter locations a few years ago - not sure if this link will work:

300 miles round trip from somerset with over 65 season ticket
394 round trip for me from S Devon.
Well over 400 miles having to fly into Gatwick. On Saturdays leave home at 9am and get back 9pm if no delays
Haha, something tells me this thread isn't going to be representative of the real figure...

394 round trip for me from S Devon.
Same as me from Shaldon.
10,790 mile round trip, Palm Springs, but only make 2 or 3 games per season
I will buck the trend with a 1.6 mile walk each way from Hammersmith
220 miles round trip from Wisbech
2 miles from Shepherds Bush
Same as Southcoast being in Littlehampton, but my son has a 1400 mile round trip from Germany on his occasional visits.
11 miles each way.

Great Map, haven,t seen this for a few years, I am surprised at how few there are in Hammersmith and Fulham. I can certainly add a few more down here in Sussex that aren't on the map and that's just within my village + 2 more families in a neighbouring village. Many of us grew up within a mile of the ground, others in Putney and Battersea.

Map works well, though I am a tad suspicious of how many hits (5) there are in Indianapolis! I only know of one other FFC supporter in that area, and she lives in the same house as I do! Though two of the Zip Codes do refer to my last two abodes over the past 5 years, as well as the tickets we got (JH stand & Hammy End).
Oh, and round trip is about 8250 for us, if we go via O'Hare.
7.9 miles from New Malden to The Cottage.
I used to regularly go from Brighton and back. Once drove from the Scottish Borders where I was on holiday to Brighton to pick up a mate then to Fulham for the game. Those were the days.

Quite a few of us down here in Brighton and Hove who still make the journey when the trains are running and even when they aren't.
62 miles round trip, Goldsworth Park Woking 049:gif
4 miles from wimbledon
130 mile round trip from Sompting, West Sussex
JFK to LHR then tube to Earls Court road and transfer to Putney. It's actually usually pretty quick, though I usually go from work which is at Green Park.

Oh how I wish we still had our family home in Fernhurst Road Fulham where I was born.
Ealing, 8 miles from the stadium.

if I remember correctly, in compiling the data, MJG (if it was he) asked people to submit their postcodes/zipcodes themselves. And I'm not sure how many years ago it was so the McBride, Dempsey, Bocanegra effect may have waned since then.
Just over a mile, from Putney
Travel up from Hove, getting a bit fed up with Friday night games.....
I'm thinking of doing the map again. It was based purely on the data sent to me.

Is it possible to add members names/monikers to location or is this against data protection?
16 miles from Ashtead, Surrey.

Good Idea if possible.
210 mile round trip. I'm a season ticket holder. Dislike evening kick offs. So many M3 closures at night add to journey times.

its not against data protection but while I'd like to add a name I think security wise it's best not to. On a personal level I had an issue on another site where my address was made publically available and I had a few issues with that. Google maps can narrow down to a street or an individual house in some instances and I dont think anyone really wants that.
Usually drive up from St Leonards on Sea 160 mile round trip.
Don't get to too many home games - Drive Stockport to Chessington 218 miles - meet the rest of my family and then get the train and underground to Putney Bridge and enjoy the best walk to any football ground in England
3000 miles. Boston usa once a year. Almost every year for last 20 and only seen 1 (one ) defeat. Sunderland in the relegation year (4-0) I think.
Even our last relegation...my 2 games were Southampton (3-2) and Leicester (1-1). It all went downhill after that I guess.

Yes very good point.
22 miles each way from Dartford by train and tube.
That's when the plantar faciitis is not making life a missed like right now!
2 miles for me. Really impressed by how far many people travel.
