It's not just Aina - we're leaving both full backs completely exposed against a wide forward and a wing back.

It is horrendous tactically.

We are poor in some areas for sure, but sometimes you're just playing against a team with players worth your whole team. The commentators slag us off for spending £100m as if that is anything in today's game.

Reed is having an awful game, and Cav as usual offers absolutely nothing and shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team

Mainly agree, although I would use the words "anonymous" about Cavaleiro and "poor" (rather than "awful") about Reid so far.  Can't see the thinking behind the selection of Cavaleiro.

Lemina and Reed are struggling but this Everton attack will give most teams a tough time. They've beaten Spurs and Palace away already this season. They played Spurs off the park. Cav has been anonymous today. Fail to see what SP sees in him.

Everton are keeping it so simple. Let Fulham pratt around with the ball, take it off them and hit long ball to their excellent front 3. Unfortunately our 2 full backs are left horribly exposed. Hard to watch. Everton will hopefully take their foot off the gas and manage the game out.  I expect 4-1 final.

I'll give them that second goal. It was well worked and the cross was exceptional, there's not too much to be done about that even if watching Iwobi slaloming around defenders is frustrating.

But the first and second goal are just so shoddy. Multiple mistakes in the lead up to both and we look porous.

Our fullbacks both seem miles off it today.

Mitro for me is still a lump at the moment. SP will get roasted later but it’s quite clear we are paying for the late transfer business.

Complete inability to get the ball into the box here, diagonals falling short every single time

So we score a goal by attacking down our right, we then avoid attacking down our right again. Makes sense.

Bring Mitro on -> zero decent crosses into the box. What’s the point

Yep. Though he isn't winning any of his headers anyway.

Lemina should have been eased back into the lineup.

Optimistic about next week.

Need Burnley and Sheffield United to lose.

MOTM was Cav. His penalty was much better than Lookmans

Positives but we need points. There are 2 teams worse than us in this league. We need to make it 3.

We won the second half 1 0, and fought back well. Should have really started with the team that finished.

All in all ... another defeat on the back of an ineffectual player finding it impossible to kick a ball straight for 12 yards...

We’ve seen the panenka, this week we’ve seen a total ....wanenka

A much improved second half and glad to see subs who were great improvement although not so much for TC. A QUESTION I have is why won't Cav go down the line? He always wants to cut inside where the real attacking threat was down the line, especially with Mitro and Loftus  Cheek on the pitch in the box.

and yet the two players who were subbed combined to score the first goal.......

oh dear what a strange game. What does Cav offer, he never seems to have  an end product to any of his runs. What is he meant to be doing?

SP needs to tell his players what I used to tell my girls high school team.....the game starts when the ref blows the whistle and doesn't end until he blows it. In between, you need to work hard and concentrate, for the WHOLE game.

I have no idea why Cav was playing (again) and why he wasn’t subbed after doing absolutely nothing (again)
What does Parker see in him
