Title: Shahid Khan has

In light of my recent thread, and being perceived as too negative, this is amazing from Shahid Khan.

Seven clubs have benefited from more than £100m funding from their owners in the last 5 years. #CFC lead the way with £440m, followed by #EFC £299m, #AVFC £193m, #FFC £186m, #BHAFC £160m, #MCFC £142m and #WWFC £131m. On the other hand, #MUFC have paid £89m to their owners.

It is worth noting that some owners have also been kind enough to convert their loans into equity, which means they would only get their money back if they sold the club: #FFC £212m, #AVFC £85m, #CFC £40m, #SUFC £27m, #LUFC £20m, #BHAFC £19m and #SaintsFC £19m.

That is a massive amount of money to pour into our football club. His financial commitment is there and he is a great owner. It's a shame he has a blind spot for the day to day operations though.

It is a massive amount and very grateful. If only his son was the same level headed and seemingly likeable person shahid is. The differences are like chalk and cheese in how they hold themselves and attend to their responsibilities.

Ithink that sums it up. He pours money in and we are grateful. He goives us stability and we are grateful.

but for the money he is spending he is not getting anythink like full value. That is almost entirely because he will not put in place proper seasoned professionals to run the footballing affairs so we end up not transfering ruiz out on the right day or getting hector in. I heard TK's explanation but really if he wasn't his father's son, he would have been gone.

So we do have TK and clearly he is very keen to do well but appears not able to learn quickly enough and as such we are seeing players that should be big targets for us slipping therough the net to our rivals. That is bad.

What is impressive is the club's PR and how it manages to defend its actions or inactions on line.

A centre forward of note and a good centre half in the next few days is what we want not a glossy new web site.

The subtlety of SK's message is in the the bit where he says 'only MUFC has paid money to their owner' which is saying English football is losing money hand over fist apart from the single example in the PL where a club returns a profit.   Now there may be other examples whereby owning the brand does wonders for the other things the owner may indulge in but the message is clear that English professional football is a loser.   That is something that all football has to be very concerned about given the future is now a great unknown thanks to a pesky virus.
