Reality is those were the sort of deals we had to do to get a strong enough squad to get back into the Prem. Can't blame Knockaert for being selected for so many games last season. Have to hope he does well enough at Notts Forest that they too are forced to make the loan deal a permanent one.

But come on. Can you imagine two thirds of the way through last season, Parker had just been told Knockaert was no longer available to him, for the sake of saving a few million quid?
I don't think anyone here really knows of the tension between TK and SP and his management team
I know it is quite a serious problem causing unrest in the camp
