Thought Andersen had a very good game as well . Noteable mention for Harrison Reed
I don't like to vote keepers MTM but he is the only one that did anything positive.

The poll should really be for who was our 2nd best performer tonight.
Areola - by a distance.
I was tempted to go for Steve Sidwell and his mate. Although, as always, they talked too much, they managed to sound cheerful throughout and gave the impression that the paying customers were watching a decent football match and were not wasting their hard earned cash watching a travesty of supposedly top flight football.
How much time did the ball spend in the air, propelled there by an aimless boot or head? How much possession did we give away? How relieved will Andersen be to get out of this?

Andersen looked so dejected at the end of the game, crouched down clearly wondering what had happened. But you're right he did have a good game, but hands down has to go to Areola as you say.
Areola. Andersen. The referee got pretty much everything spot on today. It is so refreshing to see a good refereeing performance so I try and highlight it when it happens.

I voted Andersen. He really is a top quality defender.
Areola the clear and deserved winner. His display was faultless. Such a shame about those errors against Chelsea and Man Utd as otherwise we may well have got something from both of those.
The rest of the team looked fatigued after a number of tough games over a short period of time.
I also think we (again) struggled with the pitch a bit. Our lack of good squad depth is really showing at the moment as we are crying out for some freshness and apart from Lemina there is no one that really gives me any confidence when starting.

Not me guv, I went for Areola
There should be a full investigation as we cannot have people voting for who they want to, it would mean we are living in a democracy.
Plus we haven't got enough holding cells as they were as many as five of the rascals that went against the thoughts of totalitarianism.
