... came off the pitch in yesterday's Dutch Cup match after only 26 minutes. This can't be good, but I can't find anything about what happened at Yanks-Abroad or the usual places.
So sad; I was hoping he'd get some meaningful minutes at FC Twente.
I read that the injury is no big deal - a back muscle or something. He'll be okay I'm sure.
good news, Mo; thanks.
I hope it is something insignificant.

Oguchi Onyewu had to leave the Dutch Cup match against PSV Eindhoven in the 26th minute with a back injury Wednesday. His club, FC Twente, went on to win the tie on penalty kicks, advancing to the semifinal.
A Twente spokesperson told Goal.com that the injury is "light". The American central defender's availability for Sunday's match against Feyenoord in the Eredivisie is unclear.
Against PSV, the 28-year-old was making his third competitive start for Twente, following a loan move from AC Milan. Onyewu has played largely in an unfamiliar left back role in Holland.
Good news that it isn't bad.

I sure haven't seen one taller.
