When I stepped out onto the area where we were to sit, what a moment. I wore my Jezzard 9 and it was good to hear the comments from older fans like us Sir. Yes what a day.       

Beddy Jezzard - I cried when his injury forced him to retire. I have a memory of him running at full pelt and taking a long pass on his heel, flicking it over his head and getting a shot away. A real centre forward (striker, to you youngsters).

Congrats to Hull. Will be interesting to see who they sell/buy for next season as they are cashed up. Pre judging them to fail in the PL is strange & unwise. I imagine if they were to watch our last 4-5 matches they would not be too fussed about playing us. In fact, they would prob look fwd to it.

If Hull lose they are going to go to court,as they feel Middlesbrough who lost their semi,shouldn't be there,and they Hull should have gone straight up after Southampton were thrown out.

It wouldn't have happened anyway. There have been hundreds and hundreds of contentious issues over the course of the history of football.

Germany and the Scots would like nothing better than to see our 1966 World Cup triumph chalked off and given to the Germans because of Sir Geoff's 'was it fully over the line' goal when he made it 3-2.

It's honestly a great song that very rarely gets sung because it's not often hull are 3 or 4 goals up.

Sat with my dad (hull city fan) during our big loss at the KC having it sung was a terrible moment in my time. :(

P.S. to another poster mentioning a trip to the KC, it's no longer the KC stadium and now the MKM stadium.

As you know Little Ern, Beddy's career ending injury was on some FA overseas summer tour and he won his two England caps as a second division player. A genuine club legend. Both the end of his playing career and his managerial status were not appropriate in their arrival.
