Womens league teams announced

Fulham womens league has been announced. Norwich have been moved to the northern section to balance the divisions.

Two long treks on that list although we don't know if Plymouth will even make it into next week. Scalley herself used to play rugby to a decent level and I would open the new fixtures with some trepidation. I am sure the governing bodies think the likes of Exeter, Plymouth, Truro and Ivybridge are just down the road from Bristol. One year the southwest league included Wimbledon, Hammersmith, Ealing and St Mary's,(as in the Uni), and not a single fixture at The Cottage in sight. It was always a shame when at the back end of the season some teams forfeited games down here. I suppose a 12/13 hour day staying mostly sober couldn't have been that appealing.

Talking of Exeter, there's a Red Roses game against Canada in September and it's almost sold out already.
