USA v Turkey-Yay:

Pepi - Poor.  Dodged a bullet on his non-signing.  Glad not pursuing this player anymore.  Showed nothing in this game or any of his other WC shows.
Aaronson - Very poor.  Total nothing burger.
Pulisic - Very good player, always a game changer waiting to happen.

Question:  Since when has Turkey been pronounced Turkey-Yay?  New one on me.....

Japan v Sweden:

That Japan goal was one of the best team play goals I think I've seen in some years.  Really class.

We will never know if we "dogged a bullet" he may well have come here and it might have worked.

No guarantee a new coach would/will make the difference for a player like Pepi.  All I can say is that under competition (WC) likely much better than what he faced in his club play, I remain very very unimpressed with him and glad FFC is moving away.
