Alvaro Arbeloa wants to bring four Real Madrid players to Fulham
Real Madrid are currently focusing on exits, as they seek to rebalance following the addition of four new players. Among those to depart will be La Fabrica players, with the club keen to continue doing similar deals to the ones that saw the likes of Nico Paz, Jacobo Ramon and Victor Munoz depart.

And some of those that could leave this summer may end up being reunited with former Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa. The 43-year-old will soon be announced as the next Fulham manager, and he has already started identifying targets for the Premier League club – and some of them are at his former club.

According to Marca, Arbeloa is particularly keen on signing four Real Madrid players that he worked with during his time in the first team and Castilla: César Palacios, Manuel Ángel, Thiago Pitarch and Jorge Cestero. The quartet were regularly called up to the senior squad during the second half of last season, and in the case of Pitarch, he made 16 appearances across all competitions, with many of those being from the start.

Arbeloa deals could be very beneficial for Real Madrid
Real Madrid's strategy of selling La Fabrica talents for cheap with buy-back/sell-on clauses included has been a masterstroke in recent years – with the most notable case taking place this week, as they triggered their €9m clause before Como immediately agreed a deal to keep him for €60m, an instant profit of €51m to go along with the €6m they received from selling him two summers ago.

They will hope that similar situations could happen in the future with players they sell to Fulham – especially as they know that Arbeloa will count on them, as he did during his short tenure as Real Madrid head coach when he regularly gave opportunities to the club's young talents.

Transfer news and rumours today: Everton's '£40m' target, Inter Milan's Premier League plan, Fulham setback

Fulham transfer news: Chibuike Nwaiwu latest update
Fulham target Chibuike Nwaiwu has distanced himself from a move away from Trabzonspor this summer.

The Cottagers are readying themselves for arguably their most important campaign since returning to the Premier League in 2022.

Boss Marco Silva has left the club after five seasons in charge, while stars Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez have also left for free.

Alvaro Arbeloa is reportedly close to being appointed as the Cottagers' new manager, and his squad must be reinforced significantly if he is to avoid a relegation battle.

However, Turkish outlet Fotospor claim that Fulham target Nwaiwu has ruled out joining the Londoners this summer, with the centre-back preferring to stay in the Turkish Super Lig.
