Technical issues when quote replying

All of a sudden whenever I try replying to a post and quoting that post I get a loading screen but it never loads. I've tried multiple browsers and devices. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have,plus these bleeding pop up adds when I try to log on,so I have to start again.

Yeah I've had that issue

Also now when I'm looking at a thread or typing the screen is moving upwards

More ads too then ever

Gotta use the computer instead as on the phone it's getting unbearable

I haven't had the issue on my laptop.  I don't often use the quote facility on my phone.

Incidentally, i use adblock, so adverts are minimal.

The unfortunate truth here is that nothing is for free any longer, especially in the digital world, and it is far from a money-making schema every time, before someone gets that thought.
Many sites run at a loss, often maintained by people willing to give up their time, or sole proprietors who just do it because they want to, and others get some donations to allow them to carry on. Others just go under and we often lose some great sites full of information not readily available elsewhere.
The club does not sponsor sites as a matter of course, or maintain a fan-site outside of their offal version.

I Understand definitely,I use the phone it's just so annoying when your half way through typing something,and a  pop up ad covers over what I'm typing..Too many of them now.

It has been happening to me. Can make it quite difficult when you are addressing a particular post further up the thread.

I fully understand the need for ads but I also have recently started getting the same problem the OP mentioned.   When trying to use the Quote function I just get "LOADING" in red at the top of the page and the quote function does not work.   Only on my phone, fine on my pc.

The add pop ups aren't causing this because they've been around for ages and this only happened recently. I also know it's not my phone, tried multiple browsers and all up to date. Clearly some sort of technical issue behind the scenes.

Just tried this again on my PC and exact same problem as my phone.  LOADING at the top but no quote showing.

I would agree, though I can use the quote on both my PC and phone, with (currently) no issues. A conundrum, no doubt, def one for John!

I've reinstalled the forum and its looks to have cleared the issue

I'm guessing one of the pages got slightly corrupted and overwriting them fixed it!?
