That is not entirely correct. UEFA is the only of those three that has threatened with boycott. Neither CONCACAF nor AFF has mentioned anything about a boycott, I think the wording was something in the line of "we are concerned". That is a massive difference in practical terms.

The wording of the Asian FA was  "we stand in solidarity with Uefa and Concacaf to protect the Fifa World Cup", which to my mind isn't  a huge difference in practical terms.

 

Fair enough, let me rephrase myself slightly then, UEFA is the only one that has explicitly stated anything about boycott. And although the AFF quote surely can be interpreted as "full support also regarding boycott" for us I can more or less assure you that Infantino will not interpret it that way, and that is all that matters in the end

I would suspect, given the latest news on this farce, he DID take it seriously, with an eye on his upcoming re-election in March.
That is not to say this will be the last of his (and others) money-grabbing schemes, and at least each confed are now more alert to his movements in the shadows.

Just waiting for the fate of the COO now.
