If it's true that Supermac is over here, and true that he had lunch with Dempsey, and true that Clint is back in training, then I wonder what role Mcbride played in this. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have said "Sod Fulham, they're not worth it."

About a year ago an American who works with the missus had to renew her visa and met Clint at the embassy. she said he was a really nice guy, but all he talked about was how much he loved Fulham and how he wanted to promote the game in the USA. I would put his importance to Fulham along side Mcbride's, and without knowing what was actually said I don't believe that Clint was negative about the club, though I can see him trying to force the issue of a transfer.

I really hope that Supermac had a positive influence on him, and without wishing to appear drunk, is it possible the club had a role in this?
