-Doesn't care about winning trophies right now but would like to in the future.
-Has a good transfer record.
-Plays attractive attacking football.
-On a short-term contract.
-And most importantly on the BBC telling fans to stop moaning and that everyone else has so much money and Arsenal can't compete.

Arsenal board must be lapping that up. Arsenal manager of the future. Keep your hands off Gazeedis he's ours for ad least for half a year, possibly a year and half.

About as likely as Sanchez or Curbishley.

Only if Arsenal's ambition is to finish 5th. :011:

Was anyone else pretty surprised to see this as the top story on the BBC Football site this morning? Saying that, after 7 trophyless years, Arsenal can't expect to win regular trophies, is hardly a ground-breaking revelation or something that hasn't been said before. Nobody on this forum mentioned it, and a quick look on the Arsenal forums showed the same. Seems like poor Martin's has had his words blown out of proportion; but if it psyches Arsenal out for tomorrow, then well played to the big man!

supposedly the ARSENAL food poisoned(food poison) the SPURS side who were 4th before the final game? since that season i always have rated Martin Jol as manager, for me he'a much better manager then Redknapp.. unlike 'arry didn't spend shocking amount on players and unlike 'arry didn't manage to mess up a 12 point gap from spurs arch rivals Arsenal....

I think while its easy to have a laugh at Arsenal, if I am not correct, they are the most profitable football club in the PL by some margin. Them staying in or near the Champions League each year is an achievement given how much talent they lose. I think their owner is laughing all the way to the bank.

I would careful about posting these headlines !

Jol would be an ideal successor for Wenger .

Lets focus on keeping him at Craven Cottage .....

I don't see Wenger losing his job any time soon, but would Arsenal really contemplate signing an ex-Spurs manager? I suspect not.

Tim Howard did not clap the home fans at the start of the second half; Does he hold a grudge against Fulham for the way they treated Dempsey?'

Yes.

I'm deliberately repeating it because it's sarcastic and taking the mic of people who make mountains out of molehills

I think you can guarantee that Jol is lining himself for a job in "the bigtime" again. He'll leave us for a better job when one opens up for him. The good news for us is that in order for him to be an attractive managerial candidate, he'll have to do well with us. The only way a top-flight manager stays with a club as long as Wenger and Ferguson is if they know they've reached the top level.

Just like the rest of the thread 3 is a joke at the expense of arsenal when we win today.
