Fair enough. I still think it's silly to suspend him.

Plus, it was a comment that was never intended, or supposed, to be recorded on camera. Referees and players are known for having their fair share of 'banter' (hate that word) with each other so I don't see the difference.

I think it more in good humour, and I don't see what was wrong with it. He had a point, and I don't feel it's fair for the Premier League to ban him for having a point of view on ticket prices.

Well, there was no aggro with the players after the comment so it was probably best just left alone.  A potentially good little bit of PR for the referees who, let's face it, need as much of that as they can get these days.

The FA do themselves no favours.

Daft. I bet Arsenal had a moan to the FA. I think it is fair comment by him. If the players can eff and jeff at him with no comeback during a game, why can't he say that to them?
