Did anyone else notice that in the last two games, within a very few minutes of petric being withdrawn we conceded a goal.

I think that probably just down to coincidence. Him being a forward and all..

actually i think it is a function of disrupting the team at a time it shouldn't have been touched. all the managers seem to have a mania for doing it nowadays and when it's close often it's better to do nothing. petric in this case leads the line, when he was withdrawn it invited blackpool to advance a bit and apply pressure. i think the team became unbalanced especially against wigan. I am not always sure that when the subs come on the rest of the team properly know what is expected of them.

At Blackpool I was more afraid we would concede with him continually giving the ball away in some very dangerous positions. It was bad enough against Blackpool with the calibre of players at City score would have been about 6- 0. Couldn't pass to a Fulham player in the changing room.

without forwards you have to lose to city if berba and ruiz sit deep we have to lose, better to have proper shape.
