As for Bent - I think you will find in time that he is a mercenary, but he will probably get you 15 goals this season as he definitely knows where the net is!!!!

Thanks The Cat its only first game of the season tbh. I am happy Fulham won but Richardson has injury prone written all over him.

Thanks Cat. We definitely need  a LB as Richardson although good in that position just can't stay  match fit any more, plus a striker as you saw at the game, hopefully Bent will help.  As far as i'm concerned you were unlucky not to score and equalize.

Going forward SAFC looked quite good and sharp imho and to paraphrase the sofa surfers on MOTD, i think over the course of a season, "you'll be fine".

No luck involved, really. We scored and Sunderland didnt - simple as that. They hardly ever forced Stekelenburg or Stockdale into making serious saves.
