I think Jol is the new tactics director for the blue poo. They sat back and passed the ball around the back five or six and than hit a long ball with little effect. The match ended with the Arsenal fans chanting "boring, boring Chelsea". Right they where but I don't think the Arse had a shot on goal.

To be fair on the scum the wind was blowing in their direction for the second half and they dominated the first half. All in all though the game was underwhelming to say the least.

no goals but I quite enjoyed the match. The weather was nasty, as were the tempers at times. I was hoping for a fight to break out but alas cooler heads finally prevailed.  :012:

The Blue Poo were very defensive and it seemed they were playing for a draw. They were very hard to break down.

According to the official stats Arse had 2 shots on goal although I can't remember either one.  Mikel should have received a red, Willian should have been called for a penalty, and Ivanovic put a high boot against the side of Ozil's face which should have been a card and a free kick near the corner.  Other than that, typical negative football from the special one when playing a quality team on the road.

Thought it was a really poor game too. Neither team will win the league but I think that both will get top four. Interesting to see how Liverpool fare at Man City later this week. Their next two games, that and Chelsea away, are season defining for them.

Someone on the radio described them as the rich man's Stoke.  Somehow, playing this awful style won them the Champions League.
