Obviously it could be Mo for appointing Jol or khan for not getting rid of him soon enough. Khan for not knowing enough about the club or football when he bought it. It could have been Mo for draining the money out of the club before he sold it. Where would you apportion the blame

Why feed on the team. I put the blame on Jol, mostly and Mo a bit. However, this serves no purpose. Lets get behind the lads. We are not rats deserting a sinking ship.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Shahid Khan specifically said he would stick to the plan already in place. We had about 6 weeks until the transfer window closed and left it with Ali Mac and Martin Jol. He also said the management got the players they wanted.

I would rather he came in, leaving the club being run how it was, rather than whacking open the chequebook and saying "Here's £30m what do you need?"

I think we could have won with Berbativ and Ruiz if we had spent some money on a decent CM or two this summer. Guys Jol wanted but were too expensive (e.g. McCarthy, Chantome, Huddlestone). So I blame Ali Mac and Kahn for being cheap this summer when we could have been fine if we spent a little money instead of going for retreads like Parker and Bent. I think Mo left us in decent enough shape.

I think it would be wrong to concretely point at either and rather point at the man who caused it, hes names is Jol, then to certain players for not playing with the heart out there, I was talking to people who said you cant only blame the manager, you have to blame the 11 players going out there doing so badly as well.

I keep answering not sure cus the manager sets up the tactic and should adapt players into it, and one answered, and if certain players are to old to adapt?`

And we do have an old team, wich seams to be changing if you look at transfer recently made and with Burn comming in David getting shots out there.

But is it the manager who should buy young players or is it someone in the club who handle transfers who is to blame? Is it Mo who told the manager you wont get any money to buy young and more expensive players? maybe, cus before season started Fulham was the only club in Premier League that was dept free, no loans etc.

Then again Should Khan with hes billions invested more when he came? I dont remember how many players where bought before he came? But maybe our budget was allready maxed out at them time, and he didnt have time to spit in money to buy players, cus it isnt just to transfer money from one account to another to do so, alot of legal paperworks has to be done, but in this window we did spend 12,4 for one player.

Its a very hard question you ask, but I think EVERYONE is to be blamed, Mo, Khan, Players, Ali Mac, but most of all I genuinely think Jol is to be blamed.

What about none of the above????

This notion that it is all Jol's fault us pretty ridiculous. Teams generally finish according to how much money they spend on players irrespective of who the manager is. Jol definitely wasn't phenomenal by any stretch, but if we had spent more money in the past few years we would be fine.

For me, Jol is almost entirely to blame. Yes he wasn't backed heavily in terms of transfers, but he continued to bring in players way past their best when it was clear we where crying out for youth. Even when he was given money he wasted it on luxury players like Berbatov and Ruiz.

Another depressing thread.

I know we're in a bad league position at the moment for one reason or another, but you aren't even making constructive criticism.

Let's play the blame game when the season is finished - whether we stay up or go down, you can blame who you want in May.
