Well done fulham. Welcome Richard. Have to doff the cap to kit, Ali and Rigg. This has been a very productive window.

players and fans player of the year last season, as well as being their vice captain. Cant find any Wolves fans that are happy at the sale
Why does this all slightly remind me of Kevin Ball?
Loved by Sunderland fans but an absolute dog when he joined us.

Excellent signing.

Is that just Scott Parker in a wig?

I seem to remember being linked to Stearman a couple of months ago, even before the Dunk link marathon am I right in thinking this? Also if true i wonder if we turned to Dunk and then had to return to ask Wolves about Stearman after being strung along by Dunk/Brighton.
Or did I imagine that. 049:gif COYW

Don't know much about him - can anyone give me the lowdown of what we can expect? Is he an upgrade on Bodurov and Hutch?
I'm an upgrade on Bodurov
Maybe i am wrong but when Bodurov joined i am sure that all around me were happy and he started really well with Burn, if that is the case (my memory goes occasionally) what went wrong?

I just checked on the wolves board and they are not happy Stearman has left. I read the first page where they were adamant he wasn't going and then the latest where they can't believe they sold him. Got to be good news for us and if we are pushing for promotion they could be a rival.

Strange that he hasn't been automatically given the number 5 shirt... probably just waiting but still odd given they put his name on a shirt

I've bought this up before. Given what protection he had from midfield last season it's no wonder if his confidence was shattered but he hasn't suddenly gone from a decent player hailed by the fans to an absolute cart horse. But then a lot of fickle fans have very short memories I guess (not saying the ones quoted above were lording him but going on the general feel on here and FB)

All we need to know right there.

Welcome the new Thames Barrier

Three year deal with an option for a fourth.  Once again building a foundation that is going to be in place for several years.  Nice work.

Is it just me or is it strange the announcement didn't include a brief sentence or two from the player. Every other signing has had their say on how happy they were but this one doesn't.  It was reported he didn't want to leave Wolves, he was born in Wolverhampton. I know it's a brilliant signing but even in the picture he doesn't look overjoyed.

To me it looks like Wolves made him leave, I hope I'm wrong. But surely an unsettled unhappy player isn't going to be the player we hope he is.

Hope I'm wrong because on paper it's a fantastic signing

Look at the Wolverhampton Express & Star web site - locals very unhappy at our steal.
