NFR travel information Maldives

I'm looking to start spending the kids inheritance and the wife wants to go to the Maldives, any information on this would be appreciated, would you recommend all inclusive.

yes all inclusive, there a bunch of small island if you're not eating in the resort you probably aren't eating. Beautiful place but bloody hot.

I've been 17 times and I must say, you have made a very good choice!
I would advise everyone/anyone to visit at least once!

Important, check out Trip advisor but don't take everything written as gospel as we all have different ideas.

Be aware that the islands are small and there are no tourist sites eg museums etc

Be prepared to be completely relaxed and feel that you are in paradise!

A lovely place if you like diving, snorkelling and siting on the beach reading. I do and had a great time there, but if you don't you will be climbing the walls after a couple of days.

Go all inclusive as drinks are expensive and even if you don't drink a lot it will be cheaper. Also you are not allowed to bring any drink into the place so you can't even keep a bottle in the room.

Yes you are correct that you cannot take alcohol into the Maldives, so no duty free...
But, you have plenty bars, most open all the time, you can take drinks back to your room, there's the mini bar and you can buy wine/champagne which is delivered! What else do you want?
