It Wasn't That Bad (positivity thread)

Factors that made it a tricky day.

1)- it was raining. I don't think many of our players have had to play in rain before (okay that's a bit of a joke)

2)- Had 3 games in 6 days, so players a bit stretched , and the first two of which had quite 'emotional' demands on the manager, being two previous teams of his.

3)- Fulham were awful in the first half, but United did sit back in the second and let them play, which they did. We still did not play particular well, but were okay, and were EXTREMELY unlucky to have a player sent off just after we scored. That killed us totally.

4).- honestly do not think any player played well today, but I do think we were seeing a resurgent United, with Rashford and Mata playing very well and Pogba on the bench. Bad timing to face United today

5)- I think Ranieri is still the man to save us. Not good today, but I can see him taking this performance to the players and them learning from it.

Can't believe the teams around us keep picking up points, but we are still just a win or two away from getting out of the bottom three, which I think will come.

Looking at the posts not sure about any positivity, looking at the team and substitutions I wonder if CR gave up this game and decided to rest players for next weeks game which is now a must win.

Sorry but playing Anguissa was a poor move, I really think he is poor as is Vietto who was rubbish on Wednesday, lightweight who struggles against the weaker sides let alone one of the top sides.

Need some results on the board by end of year and then a clear out with some new players in.

I admit I have not seen any of today's game and will suffer and watch the full 90 on Monday, so may come back here and eat humble pie or confirm my views then.

You won't need to eat humble pie and I will save you time by confirming your views, I watched the game!!

There are positives
It can't get worse, we are bottom and leaking goals
I think the owner might just realise the CEO needs replacing and his son should not oversee transfers
We  may get a proper coaching staff to help the manager

I agree, we were getting into noticably better areas.
