the worst manager ever and if he is not gone by the time I wake up tomorrow the Khans will be the third worst owners ever (Bulstrode and clay are worse). The whole lot of them have no shame at how they have mismanaged and not apologised to every one of us. Mr Khan should refund the money we paid this season because he took our money under false pretences. the whole lot of them are taking all the pleasure out of it. I can cope with losing but not mega mismangement

Nepotism is Ok when nobody else is involved but the Khan's charge us money and insult our intelligence and suck the life out of the team because the son of the owner is left in situ. He is killing us. this is a disgraceful set of circumstances.

The nepotism really, really makes me angry.

I'd be fine continuing to do the statistical analysis, using TK's company but, I think TK has had long enough to prove whether he can handle the football operations side of Fulham. The results overall are poor, save for last season. He's had long enough at the helm.

Need someone with a history of success in that job to take over and position who he feels would be most helpful with scouting and coaching....and probably most importantly player development at all levels.

To be honest, I think the second half of taller season was a fluke and skill of the coaching team. Nothing to do with the Khans.

I won't argue with you.

Nepotism is the owner giving a job to his son, but it is not nepotism for a co-owner to employ himself and it is not nepotism for an owner to employ his son as his trusted representative (ie acting owner).

While it is fair to ask the nepotism to end, Shadid Khan can end the nepotism by making Tony Khan a co-owner and thus allowing TK to select the DOF, and TK will probably choose himself. I doubt that would improve anything, the only difference is it will be more difficult for SK to sack TK as DOF (if TK is co-owner).

If you hate TK working as DOF for SK the owner because it nepotism that's fair, but the solution of TK working as DOF for TK the co-owner annoys you too, then nepotism is not what annoys you.

on such a miserable night being a smart alec with linguistics is not called for. You know what is meant, the intent of the comments are clear and if you need a child like spelling out of the point... TK needs to be removed from duties as anything to do with team matters. He can select the DoF the manager but then he needs to let them,  do their jobs. Happy!

No it would not be nepotism. It would be egomania, which is no better. So what's your point?

I realise the intention of accusing SK of nepotism is to a) decrease TK influence over a football matters, but SK can just as easily end nepotism b) by increasing Tony Khans power over football matters. Before forcing SK to either increase or decrease Tony Khans power over football matters, you need to think which way he may go and do you want it.

I agree with Twig, plus I don't know how the rational fan, can be so irrational, that he is attempting to defend the indefensible, a bit like Fulham unsuccessfully defending their own goal, then scoring an own goal.

Given the choice between nepotism or egomania, my point is i would choose nepotism as the power is shared. I would not end the nepotism unless certain it wouldn't result in an egomaniac running the club. I don't know what the Khans are like, but splitting the power between them is better than giving TK too much power.

Woolly Mammoth

TK should not be allowed anywhere near Fulham Football Club, hasn't he done enough damage. His father cleary does not care and shows little interest, because if he did, he would have removed him long before now, in the best interest of Fulham FC.

The Rational Fan is also being irrational as is his nature.  The nepotism is the here and now and so a move towards co-wwnership would be a derivation of that nepotism.  It simply turns the business into family ownership which may then turn into a family feud, of which history tells us of many tragic consequences.  A rational/sensible person may ask why SK hasn't elected to make his son the co- or sole owner already. Perhaps we should discuss SK's interests in acquiring Wembley in more depth and understand what that suggests his interests in English football really are.  I haven't a clue what was or is in SK's head with either FFC or Wembley and I wouldn't want to speculate on that without knowing quite a bit more about him (and his son) than I already do.

The English football perspective does absolutely suggest to me at this moment in time that both Khans know a lot about ownership but very little about running what they own, in the UK at least.

filham

For only the fourth time in our history we were promoted to the top tier of English football, that would not have been achieved without Khan's money and support.
Young Khan need to drop his obsession with Stats and appoint an experienced man as director of football, we may then see better times again.

I honestly have no idea what you are suggesting. TK is in a specialist position because his father owns the club and that is what is killing us. We all know he needs to be removed from that position and that is one of the key the points of the thread.
