I live in Watford but I am a season ticket holder at the Cottage and have always supported the whites. However what I noticed last night. Despite being in the semi final of the F A cup and playing a London Derby at home they had a lot of empty spaces in the home areas. Their supporters were so quiet Fulham fans were singing is this a library several times. After several seasons in the Premier league they are still only able to attract 17,000 supporters. To compare us to them we were getting a lot more during our stint in the prem and we are getting more than that while being relegated

So Watford have a smaller fan base than us but there is no doubt that this season ther team are streets ahead of us. Perhaps Khan neds to look at their set up and explain the reason why.

probably the price of a Semi Final ticket will have kept many people away miss that one put money towards wembley tickets, going to that instead of a dead rubber for them derby.

Aren't Watford still owned by Italian football royalty - Father & son outfit....bit like Fulham, but Watford people are football through & through

that's probably why they never let jokanovic anywhere near premiership
very shrewd owners.

Our average is about 20k with away fans selling out their 2,500 or so allocation.

The family stand is usually half full for any game against a non-top 6 side and the club have admitted they have issues with Season ticket holders in there picking and choosing their games.

No doubt Arsenal in a couple of weeks will be sold out but Southampton probably about the same as on Tuesday.

There was one bloke near me who turned up at half time because he claimed to forget we were playing!

I won't be afraid to admit we have a fair few fair-weather fans.

I believe we started this season like we were in a Championship Campaign. We need to start next season with Slavisa's method and this team then we should win the league. We lose players, and we replace them with equally good players we will fail. Selling players is the "Road to Ruin".
