It just isn't fair

I see many comments today about our manager which do not take into account the total unfairness of the league. Clearly we should be allowed to play all our games during the summer as it isn't right to expect our players to play their pretty passing games in wet and windy conditions. This gives an unfair advantage to sides who simply turn up trying to win by running around tackling, harrying, blocking and generally spoiling the grandness of our marvelous flowing football and what on earth is this tactic of 'putting in a shift' all about.
This sort of thing will give football a bad name if allowed to go on.

I have to agree, pretty play could wait until we are ahead.

Then "tackling, harrying and blocking" seems like the way ahead. Perhaps our prima donna squad should try it when conditions dictate....?

And that is the point. Conditions  did not dictate a passing game yesterday. We weren't beaten yesterday we beat ourselves

Logicalman

What was interesting yesterday, especially given the conditions, is that we were opened up with long hoof balls, some that led to goals. What team plays those tactics in weather like that, eh? Totally unfair to do so.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

Fancy their big Austrian cheat of a manager playing tactics that were in keeping with conditions.... does he not respect Scotty Ps Plan A (well only plan) of playing it out from the back, passing sideways and backwards. The rascals underhanded tactics meant we gave the ball away lots, got caught in possession and out of position.  I think a complaint to the Football League  ... nay, FIFA themselves is well in order!

Also, that penalty kick , in the air off the wet surface, never gave out keeper  a chance, not sporting at all.
