Come on Dave - have a G&T or two and relax. I've already gone from vino to vodka and really looking forward to the game! It's not great granted but it's not the end of the world - it's the whole season that matters and imo I think we have a good squad and manager. I just hope we don't get any more injuries at this early stage!

We have two injured and one suspended winger and yet the two that are starting would make it into any of the other 23 teams in the league's matchday squad and Cav would probably start for all of them - we can't just go out and buy more forwards because we're light after what is a fairly bad patch for injuries etc, otherwise we'd have 30+ players and would fail FFP. We've got two very good CM's on the bench, Mawson and Odoi can do a job at this level and Stansfield is potentially a future star + our new striker is having to follow Covid protocol, so it's not like we've cobbled a bench together from the U18's + Rodak should arguably be starting anyway.

4 or 5? Enough is ne'er enough, eh? If we get Muniz, Bruno Paz, and maybe* Obefami or someone else, that's as much as we can ask for after the window we've had. Harry Wilson red card was what did us in for this one, tbf. Injuries are out of our control, red cards not as much. What's the point in our academy if we just keep recruiting "Champ" players - I think Fab, Francois, and Stansfield are essentially Champ players already at a minimum, especially if they stick with us and grow this season.
