Interesting reading on their forum, personally, I hope they're relegated:

Reading some of those posts, makes me realise how nice even in the most volatile times this forum is!

Got us next week .

We cannot defend so not hopeful .

They will probably spend enough to stay up as the rest of us are hopeless without the money !

On paper, I still fancy you guys over Newcastle. The only thing I think they have is whether they can keep Max and Wilson fit. It was the same last year.

I really do hope Watford stay up. You have a talented bunch, and surely Norwich and Newcastle look dead to rights and Burnley... well, it's been coming for about five seasons now.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Can't see them staying up whoever they buy.
Club is in a mess,it falls over into the pitch.

Newcastle are 2 points from safety with tens of millions to spend in the transfer window; and so am therefore surprised some people are writing them off as if they're 12 points adrift. Watford will go down with Burnley/Norwich. And the way Watford are run, i.e. using managers like toilet paper; there's an argument to be made that they deserve to go down

Wilson now out injured for 2 months.

Yep, just saw this! Big, big hit to them.  So MartyFFC, the reasoning I think its probable they'll go down is, the defence is no where near competent enough compared to usual seasons that kept them up, and they still just don't score goals. They'll spend money, sure, but will be be on the right, necessary players to bring them up? I'm just not convinced they'll get the players they need due to the dire situation and statistical likelihood they'll go down.

Yet ahead of Norwich and just behind us/Burnley with much more spending power .

It's almost in their hands or should be wallets !

Agree to an extent, but in such a position they are in, signing depreciated talents like Trippier, I'm just not sure the money will bring the genuine quality they need. They clearly need to buy in the middle, ie CB's and CM's but I've not seen them linked with many. Seems like its all strikers and full backs.....

St Eve

They may have money but they still have to persuade real talent to come aboard. When Mo bought Fulham we had a similar issue and it wasn't until we got Cookie that others followed.
There only hope is to get mercenaries/out of favor players as a stop gap like Ramsey, Bale, Aubameyang, Martial, Lingard, Dele etc

Newcastle fans think they have got a God given right to be in the Premiership and I must say that with 52,000 in that stadium they deserve better than they are performing.
Having said that the three teams with the least points go down!

Nothing is given, only earned. They don't deserve the Premier League with ONE WIN in half the season.

Mitro might be their saviour, what a turnaround that would be!

I think the vast majority of football fans hope you win.  If Dennis is fit he should run rings around their defence.

Newcastle are easily the worst team in the league. Eddie Howe is out of his depth too I believe..

£25m for Woods to their relegation rival?  Surely Burnley must have someone lined up to replace him.
