I've no idea where to look for escape at this time. Scary looking at our current squad and seeing who we really match up to!

Here is the alternative PL table for this season. Note Wolves way overperformed their XG stats. Remember Fulham would have remained in the PL if they had equaled their XG stats the last go round. That appears to be true this past season for Burnley, whereas Leeds should have been relegated. Leeds would have go down if Bielsa had stayed. Jesse Marsch increased their XG stats and was able to hang on to 17th place.

It will be interesting to see how Brentford do this season. They may have outperformed last season so they could end up in the mix near the bottom.. I guess time will tell.

Agree, and a lot depends on whether Christian Eriksen stays with them. I have a feeling he might do, due to the Danish connections there.

And Toney. They have a decent track record of recruiting that replacing Eriksen and Toney might be a step too far.

Will Forrest and Bournmouth be stronger next season  than Watford, Norwich and Burnley were this season, I think so.
It is going to be a tough relegation battle and right now we are missing Seri and Carvalho, come on TK we need some new blood.
